Eminem’s ex-wife Kim Scott attempted suicide before being rushed to the hospital over the weekend.
“The caller says her aunt cut her wrist and is bleeding,” the dispatcher told paramedics, according to audio obtained by TMZ.
“She is currently sitting on the couch listening to music. She has a knife in her hand but won’t give it to the caller. This is Kim Mathers,” the source added. “She is currently unconscious. The caller was able to remove her.”
According to a Chesterfield Fire/EMS report obtained by the outlet, Scott, 51, was rushed to the hospital on Saturday after suffering “bleeding” or “lacerations” that led to massive, uncontrollable bleeding.
When paramedics arrived, she was placed on a stretcher and placed in the back of the ambulance.
Scott (formerly Kim Mathers) has since been transferred to McLaren Macomb Hospital. Her current condition is unknown.
Scott attempted to take his own life multiple times.
In October 2015, she was involved in a single-vehicle accident in Macomb Township, Michigan. She later admitted in a radio interview that the incident was a deliberate suicide attempt.
Six years later, Scott attempted suicide again after his mother, Kathleen Slack, passed away in July 2021.
At the time, Scott was found bleeding profusely from cutting himself multiple times in the bathroom of his Michigan home.
Over the past few months, Scott has been dealing with several legal issues.
In May, she was arrested for driving under the influence three days after appearing in court on similar charges.
Scott was allegedly driving when he collided with a parked car. When police pulled her over, she allegedly became slurred and vomited nearly three times the legal limit.
Scott was booked into the Macomb County Jail in Mount Clemens, Michigan on suspicion of driving under the influence.
In June, Page Six exclusively reported that a warrant had been issued for Scott’s arrest after he failed to appear at a DUI hearing.
Scott and Eminem (real name Marshall Bruce Mathers III) first married in 1999 and divorced two years later.
The “Lose Yourself” rapper, 53, and Scott remarried in January 2006 in a small ceremony in Michigan. However, Eminem filed for divorce just three months after their second wedding.
The former couple have three children: Hayley Jade Mathers (30), Alaina Marie Scott (33), and Stevie Lane Mathers (24).
Scott is also the mother of son Parker, who she welcomed with an unknown man after her divorce from the Grammy Award winner.
