Milania Giudice allegedly punched someone in the face with the initials “LR” before being arrested for simple assault.
The 20-year-old daughter of “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice appeared virtually in Montville Township Municipal Court on Tuesday, where the judge alleged that she “intentionally caused injury to another person during a domestic dispute in violation of a disorderly persons offense, specifically by striking the victim, LR, in the head with her fist, causing the victim’s middle forehead to turn red.”
Milania wore a solemn expression as she sat next to attorney Alan Kraminski, who argued on her behalf.
With her hair slicked back and her face covered in makeup, Milania answered the judge’s basic questions during her arraignment.
He ordered her to return to court for a hearing in August and advised her that if convicted, she could face up to six months in prison, probation and a fine of more than $500.
Milania was arrested on May 14 on suspicion of domestic violence at the home of her mother and stepfather Luis “Louis” Ruelas in Montville, New Jersey.
According to a Montville Police Department arrest report, Milania “threw food (and) candles” during a “domestic violence dispute.”
Police said Teresa’s other daughter, Gabriela Giudice, identified as the “caller,” called 911 just before 6:15 p.m. to report that her sister was acting strange.
The report also said no weapons were used and no injuries were reported.
Milania was eventually arrested in “double lock” handcuffs and charged with one count of simple assault.
She entered a not guilty plea, according to Montville Municipal Court records.
Although she has not publicly addressed the circumstances surrounding her arrest, the University of Tampa student broke her silence on the matter in a June 29 TikTok.
At the beginning of the video, she laughed out loud at a fake photo of herself circulating online, claiming it was “AI.”
“The mug shot made me sick. I looked like I was on fire. I mean, I’m not proud of it, but I was convinced of it,” Milania boasted, mocking those who believed it was “real.”
She continued, “That’s the way it is. Things like this don’t happen in life. That’s the way it is. You have to learn from it and become a better person and talk about it.”
Milania explained that at the time of the incident, she was “not in a good place in (her) life.”
“That’s how it is. I’ve been through a lot in my life and other things have happened to me,” she told her followers. “You guys think you know everything that’s going to happen in my life, but you actually don’t know anything.”
Teresa, 54, has four daughters, Audriana Giudice, 16, Milania, Gabriella, 21, and Gia Giudice, 25, with her first husband Joe Giudice.
The former lovers were married from October 1999 to September 2020 and divorced after each served prison time for federal fraud.
Teresa married Ruelas, 52, in August 2022.
The digital marketing entrepreneur has two sons, Nicholas Ruelas (25) and Louis Ruelas Jr. (22), with his first wife Marisa DiMartino.
