Some jokes never get old.
Comedian Tom Segura told his wife Kristina Pacitsky that she was “cold as ice” a year before they broke up.
“Last night you said I was cold as ice and a sociopath,” Pasitsky told Segura on an episode of their shared podcast, “Your Mom’s House,” released on July 2, 2025.
“You’re mentally ill,” Segura jokingly replied. “But it’s the kind I know all too well, and I still love you.”
“You said that I don’t have feelings and that I’m very emotionally cold,” Pasitsky continued, recalling an earlier conversation with her husband.
“It’s cold,” he choked out. “You look very Eastern European.”
Segura added that Pasitsky “lacks empathy” and “lacks remorse.”
Pasitsky later admitted that because of her culture, she has trouble “feeling” things and considers smiling “a form of weakness.”
But Segura also “doesn’t always have high emotions,” she insisted.
The pair shared that they had previously gone “back and forth” about one of them exhibiting tendencies of “antisocial personality disorder,” and both claimed that the other had it too.
On Monday, TMZ reported that the comedians, who have been married for 18 years, separated in recent months but are “completely amicable.”
The two co-founded the podcast network YMH Studio in 2025 and are also co-hosts of “Your Mama’s House,” which debuted in 2012. However, the two, who are reportedly estranged, have not filmed an episode together since April.
The comedian has two sons, Ellis and Julian, born in 2016 and 2018 respectively.
“They had a special and productive relationship, built one of the most successful comedy podcast networks in the industry, and, more importantly, raised two children,” a source told the outlet. “They are taking different paths moving forward while continuing their dedication to children.”
Before their separation, Segura, 47, and Pasitsky, 50, often talked about their marriage on both their podcast and separate stand-up shows.
In the 2017 Netflix special Mother Inferior, Pasitsky said, “I love my husband. I laugh at his jokes. I think he’s a great guy. And I want to punch him in his stupid face all day, every day.”
She added: “It’s not a big thing to want to kill your spouse. It’s a small thing.”
Back in 2019, Segura joked on his comedy show that the key to their marriage was “intimidation and fear.”
Segura also hinted at a breakup by ditching her wedding ring during the latest episode of another podcast, 2 Bears, 1 Cave.
The hour-long episode aired on Monday, the same day as news of Segura and Pasitsky’s separation.
