Jennifer Lopez’s most recent role was in Klimt’s The Golden Woman.
The singer made a stop in Italy, arriving in time for Dolce & Gabbana’s Haute Couture weekend ‘Alta Moda’.
At the event, she wore a strapless gown that literally dripped with jewels and was completely covered in jewels.
The gold dress was encrusted with colorful stones, and Lopez accessorized her look with a coordinating metallic cape. And as if that wasn’t decoration enough, she wore an oversized ruby necklace and drop earrings.
Lopez told Vogue how she felt wearing the piece: “I feel like a bombshell, like a queen, like the sexiest woman in the world.”
The multihyphenate likened stepping into a glamorous haute couture look to approaching an acting role.
“Being an actress, clothes always help me become something,” she continued. “I think the reason I love clothes is because I love being an actress. It’s about being a character.”
Lopez quickly changed into a bright yellow one-shoulder dress encrusted with diamonds for the evening’s event.
She posed with her sister Linda Lopez in a metallic silver bag and coordinating jewelry.
Lopez is more than just a guest at the design house’s multi-day event. She is scheduled to perform at Dolce & Gabbana’s finale event on Thursday night, a beach party for the brand’s 300 guests.
The singer shared a series of photos and videos on her Instagram account, writing “Dolce & Glow✨” on the metallic slideshow.
While Lopez seems to be living a pretty lavish lifestyle, with or without the help of the Italian design house, she told Vogue that the collection is an inspiration for the person she aspires to be.
“You know, I left that collection and thought, “I want to live a bigger life, a bigger life, so I can wear these clothes. I have to live this, because this is the life I want to live. That’s the desire they create. It’s very interesting, isn’t it?” she asked.
Lopez headed to Italy from London and was spotted sitting in the royal box during the men’s singles final at Wimbledon wearing an oversized hat that raised eyebrows.
Prior to the tennis match, the 56-year-old celebrated her birthday in Paris with her sister Linda and friends, and also appeared at several other haute couture shows.
Linda also won an invitation to be a plus-one at Dolce & Gabbana’s event in Sicily, and shared a photo of the pair on Instagram on Tuesday.
