South Korea’s hit thriller “A Shop for Killers” returns for a second season on Disney+ and Hulu starting July 22nd.
In the eight-episode sequel, Ji-an runs a weapons shop and Jin-man returns from the dead, as the two struggle to repel the humiliated Babylon, who is recruiting reinforcements from overseas to rebuild its army and take revenge.
Lee Dong-wook (Harbin, Nice Guy) and Kim Hye-joon (Connect, Cashiero) will reprise their roles as Jeon Jin-man and Jeon Ji-an, respectively. Japanese star Hyun Ri (“Missing”, “Pachinko”) will play the role of team leader Q, and Masaki Okada (“Drive My Car”, “The Last Mile”) will play the role of mercenary J. Season 1 screenwriters Gee Ho-jin (“Newtopia”) and Lee Kwon (“Doorlock”) will return for the new season, and Lee Kwon will also direct.
Season 2 will premiere with two episodes on July 22nd, followed by two new episodes every Wednesday until the season finale on August 12th.
The first season of “A Shop for Killers” was a worldwide success for the platform.
The series is part of a wave of Korean sequels coming to Disney+. “Made in Korea,” starring Hyun Bin as a corruption special agent and Jung Woo-sung as a prosecutor, is scheduled to return with a second season later this year, while “Moving” has begun production on season 2 following its broadcast as a Korean superpower drama. Season 1 of “Made in Korea” became the streamer’s most-watched Korean original premiere in 2025 across Asia-Pacific markets.
“A Shop for Killers” Season 1 is currently streaming, with Season 2 launching on July 22 on Disney+ internationally and Hulu in the United States.
