Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s 13-year-old daughter has been making waves online after she was spotted interacting with a 23-year-old model while appearing at Paris Fashion Week.
At Vetements’ Spring/Summer 2027 menswear show on Friday, North West was approached by Matteo Sinnett to take a photo with him, in a video shared by rapper Skepta via X.
The 43-year-old drew attention to the fact that North held out her hand for a handshake before Sinnett hugged her, claiming that “even the blind man could see her asking for a handshake.”
“I know I try to stay out of other people’s business, but the way an adult stranger would try to take advantage of North is disgusting,” Skepta wrote on Saturday. “Protect the children, protect the children!”
Many social media users agreed that the boy “looked very uncomfortable” during the exchange, with one writing: “The awkwardness of that video is painful.”
However, one person noted that Sinnett “didn’t let it linger or get weird” and asked if “hugging is a social crime”, to which Skepta replied: “What are you talking about?! She’s 13 years old and she held out her hand for a handshake and you can’t just ignore it. I can’t believe some of these (sic) replies to my tweets.”
One source specifically told Page Six that North “wasn’t uncomfortable at all, but wasn’t sure if[Sinnett]wanted to shake her hand or hug her.”
Representatives for Kardashian, West and Sinnett did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
North attended Friday’s event without her parents present.
She was in town with her father and his wife, Bianca Sensori, and then flew to Florida with them for a performance.
The teen rocked her signature blue wig and some fake facial piercings, including two new angel bites on her upper lip.
Her all-black ensemble featured a black long-sleeve shirt, mini tennis skirt, tights, and combat boots.
She wore a similar look during her first music festival appearance earlier this month.
Her six-song EP, N0rth4evr, was released in May, along with a creepy music video of the same name.
Additionally, North performed with West twice this year, in January and April.
Kardashian came under fire in February over her eldest daughter, saying she was “releasing music, having fun, and doing it her own way.”
The reality star, who has three other children with West, added: “She’s not afraid of whether people will like her or not. She’s like her father in that if they like her, that’s enough, and she doesn’t really care about outside opinions.”
