she looks really nice.
Lizzo turned heads in a daring sheer dress at the 2026 BET Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday. The 38-year-old singer wore a sparkling see-through brown dress to the ceremony at the Peacock Theater, with her long blonde curls strategically hiding her breasts.
She completed her look with a statement ring and sparkling makeup.
The “Truth Hurts” singer is also scheduled to perform at this year’s BET Awards.
Lizzo has been busy promoting her new album “Bitch,” which she released earlier this month. She recently revealed her favorite song on the album to hosts Evan Real and Danny Murphy on SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio.
“Right now, I love ‘Sexy Ladies,’ and I think that’s because everyone loves sexy women,” she said. “And it’s so easy to love it. It’s summer, right?”
She also talked about performing at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show during Miami Swim Week last month.
“I felt like I was being sucked into it,” Lizzo said of wearing a plunging dress with the word “Bitch” written on it from her fashion line.
“Girls, Mr. and Mrs. Itty were Ittying,” she joked. “This suit has to say ‘bitch,’ and that’s just what we did.”
Lizzo spoke candidly to fans about her noticeable 60-pound weight loss. In April, she shared a photo of herself on Instagram wearing a Gucci bikini and posing provocatively, including grabbing her butt.
“Good luck sticking your butt out all summer long,” she wrote.
In November 2025, Lizzo revealed in a very personal Substack post that she began losing weight in the fall of 2023 following a harassment and hostile work environment scandal, which she wrote made her “severely suicidal.”
She said that she “tends to binge drink when she’s sad and depressed,” but that she “didn’t feel like that” after the scandal.
Instead, the Grammy winner turned to Pilates in search of a “way to process pain through my body.”
“For me, it was never about being ‘thin,'” she stressed. “I don’t think there’s even a chance that I could actually be considered ‘thin.’ Always stretch to maintain feminine skin that can support your weight. And I’m proud of it. Even if the world didn’t want me to. ”
She also addressed the criticism she received for losing weight while preaching body positivity.
“We’re in a time where big girls are getting small because they’re tired of being judged, and now those big girls are being judged for being small by the very communities they once empowered,” she noted.
“There’s nothing wrong with living in a larger body. There’s nothing wrong with being fat. But if women want to change, they should be allowed to change.”
