Celebrity fans went all out orange and blue on Knicks parade day.
Thursday’s ticker bash in lower Manhattan drew the team’s longtime A-list faithful, decked out for the occasion in everything from custom merchandise to designer bags.
Mariska Hargitay wore a “Brilliant Thing #11 The Knicks” T-shirt, a nod to the Broadway show “Every Brilliant Thing”, paired with bright orange pants, and her son wore a custom orange and blue “Marknicksa Hargitay” shirt. Martha Stewart joined the pun parade wearing a Nick of Time T-shirt, both of which were, of course, inspired by Taylor Swift.
High fashion people also gathered. Timothée Chalamet continued his Chrome Hearts winning streak in an orange LA-branded hoodie, while Teyana Taylor wore a bright orange wig over a logo-printed white jumpsuit. She also shared a snap of her arm candy from the parade. It’s a $35,000 Hermès Birkin printed with graphic details in bright blue and rusty orange.
New York City’s first lady, Rama Dowaj, represented the home team in a custom Miss Claire Sullivan one-shoulder dress made from pirated NBA Finals T-shirts.
Jordyn James, daughter of Finals MVP Jalen Brunson, had perhaps the cutest outfit of the day. “Hallelujah, Dad’s MVP” tank and pink baby headphones. Mom Ali Brunson kept it simple wearing a No. 11 Knicks tank top as she lifted her baby on the family float.
Jordyn Woods, the fiance of Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns, brought home a playoff accessory. It’s an orange ostrich tax clutch mini from her brand Woods by Jordyn, the so-called “lucky bag” she’s been carrying throughout her team’s winning streak. She paired it with a Townes #32 jersey, crisp white jeans, and a custom Alex Moss Diamond Knicks pendant.
Mayor Zoran Mamdani enthusiastically participated in the parade, posing with a bag during the parade.
Mary J. Blige went the extravagant route wearing a white leather romper personalized with her initials and a Knicks championship patch, accessorized with a diamond chain, while Lindsay Lohan joined in from afar by holding up a custom “Lohan 86” piece on Instagram.
The closer appeared courtesy of Alicia Keys, who took to the City Hall stage wearing a black leather pelé pelé jacket and leather pants to perform “Empire State of Mind.”
