Gia Giudice is accusing her mother, Teresa Giudice, of “mean” “Next Generation New York City” co-star Eva Dash for unfollowing her on social media.
“It just kind of came out of nowhere and seemed very convenient. So I thought it was all very calculated because this wasn’t the first time me and Ava were meeting,” Gia, 25, told “Virtual Reali-Tea” hosts Evan Real and Danny Murphy about Dash’s accusations.
Murphy speculated that Dash, 26, may have dropped her case against Teresa in an attempt to distract from the headlines about her family’s financial troubles, but Gia said she believed “eventually viewers will see some of that in her.”
“She’s very aware of her image and how she wants to be seen. Obviously no one likes bad press or bad attention. But unfortunately, that comes with this realm,” Gia continued.
While Dash is said to have a feud with Gia’s mother, the host of the Casual Chaos podcast told Leal and Murphy, “You can be mean and beautiful,” adding that she would “never” deny her co-star’s beauty.
Dash, 26, first raised suspicions about the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star, 54, in a season 1 episode of the Bravo series that premiered last June. The incident caused tension between her and Gia, causing a rift in their friend group.
Gia last addressed Dash’s comments in July 2025 when she appeared on Nick Viall’s podcast, The Viall Files.
“Do you really think she can just sit there and take time for something like that? All I know about my mom is that she barely knows how to shoot a cameo properly,” Gia said at the time. “She’s not tech savvy at all, so when Eva said that, I thought, ‘Girl, you’re just lying. I know my mom, and she doesn’t really care about unfollowing you.’
Gia addressed the rift between this season’s cast members in an interview with Virtual Reali-Tea, saying she feels the show stems from the breakup of co-stars Arianna Biermann and Hudson McLeroy.
“So we obviously support Ariana and we’re really there for her. Obviously, certain people had opinions about their breakup. They’re not going to be friends with her or have a chat with her because they’re trying to say that the breakup was fake,” she explained.
“I know Ariana. She’s my best friend. I’ve never felt or thought anything like that,” Gia said in defense of her friend. “It was really a time when we both needed space. We got too comfortable and then you have to be uncomfortable sometimes to grow.”
However, she said the estranged couple are “taking time” to figure out their relationship but “haven’t made it official yet.”
“I think it definitely had a little bit to do with the division, but also… there was this weird energy and attitude that was given to some of us among the press during Season 1 of ‘The Next Generation’ last year,” Gia added.
“There was always this weird energy that seemed to be given to some of us, but we weren’t doing anything,” she added. “So we were like, let’s see how this goes.”
In addition to Gia and Dash, Biermann and McCleroy, the returning cast of “Next Gen NYC” includes Riley Burruss, Emira DeSpain, Brooks Marks, Georgia McCann, Charlie Zucker and Shy Fruchter.
They are joined by new additions Rowan Henchy, Liam Obergfoll and Kendall White.
“Next Gen NYC” Season 2 premieres June 24 at 9pm ET/PT on Bravo.
