Pink may have had the honor of hosting the 2026 Tony Awards, but she gave credit where credit was due in her opening monologue, calling her daughter Willow Sage Hart, 15, “Broadway’s biggest fan.”
“I’m here tonight as a huge Broadway fan,” said the 46-year-old singer, who hosted Sunday’s ceremony at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall. Then she added, “Well, it’s the next biggest thing after my daughter Willow.”
The proud mother was joined by a musical-obsessed teenage girl. They also have a son, Jameson Moon Hart, 9. Husband, Carey Hart, 50 years old. Her own mother, Judith Moore, posed for a cute family portrait on the red carpet before the show started.
Pink and Willow recently made a rare red carpet appearance together in the Big Apple during the opening night of The Lost Boys on Broadway in April.
In an Instagram video shared at the time, the “Get the Party Started” singer told photographers, “My daughter is so gorgeous!”
Pink, 46, can be heard asking 15-year-old Willow: “How are you feeling?”
The young singer, who was holding her mother’s hand, assured her that she was “okay.”
Pink and Willow also appeared on stage together several times.
In August 2024, the two spoke at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
They sang a special rendition of Pink’s song “What About Us.”
At one point during the performance, Willow belted out a few lines to herself as her mother looked on in awe.
Back in June 2023, on the opening night of Pink’s Summer Carnival tour, she joined her mother on stage to duet “Cover Me in Sunshine.”
Pink originally released the song with Willow in 2021.
A year later, in June 2024, it was revealed that Willow had flown out of the coop to focus on a career in musical theater.
The “Just Give Me a Reason” crooner posted an emotional video on Instagram in which Willow expressed her desire to prioritize “professional theater.”
The actress said she had a desire to “spend my childhood on Broadway” before “then becoming an adult on Broadway.”
Pink teased in the caption: “This weekend’s show was Willow’s last few shows before she took time to pursue her dreams. I vowed not to cry.” “But I didn’t promise. I didn’t promise I wouldn’t hyperventilate in our hugs. It’s wild to watch your kids grow up and walk away from you, but I’m so proud. We all are. I’m going to miss you so much.”
Willow turns 15 on June 2, and Pink told E! The next day, before welcoming her daughter, the news broke that she was “scared about becoming a mother.”
“I told Willow in her birthday card that she taught me what love is and I have loved every step of being her mother,” she gushed.
Meanwhile, Carey wrote a touching birthday message to her eldest son on social media.
“My beautiful daughter Willow. Thank you so much for choosing me to be your father,” Racer wrote. “Every year that passes brings you one year closer to being on your own, and I couldn’t be more proud of the woman you are becoming, as each year makes it harder for me.”
