This B sticks.
Bethenny Frankel hits back at the haters by walking the catwalk for the second time at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show.
Despite winning a spread in this year’s issue, the 55-year-old former reality star came under fire for her age, body shape and overall decision to attend the Miami Swim Week event.
“Let’s talk about the Sports Illustrated experience,” Frankel began a Tik Tok video on Tuesday.
“The women make it so much fun,” she said, adding, “They’re all great shapes, sizes, heights, ages, races, backgrounds.”
The former “Real Housewives of New York” star said that while “everyone is a little nervous in some way,” “I’m not trying to be a model. I’m just going to be me and have fun.”
She continued, “Now I know how old I am. I didn’t even think about it until last year when everyone was making such a fuss about it.”
To those who claim she’s too old to walk down the runway in a swimsuit, Skinny Girl was quick to say, “Why not? Because I’ll do whatever I want.”
“Your ass is Jell-O,” she said, parroting the haters. “It’s Jell-O,” she replied, continuing, “I’ve said it 27,000 times already…I don’t exercise and I don’t want to. I walk. So, were I going to do squats for six months? No. I’m not that vain.”
She also revealed that she called her boyfriend Shane L. Campbell her “stage dad” and thought she was the “beauty of the ball” and that her 16-year-old daughter, Bryn Hoppy, “loved the black bondage swimsuit best.”
“I’m happy. People are allowed to be happy,” she concluded with a sharp conclusion, speaking directly to internet trolls and haters who claimed she was too old.
Back in April, she exclusively told Page Six Style:
“There’s a theory that we’re somehow past our prime, but I don’t agree with that,” she added.
On the red carpet at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue launch party last month, she told us, “Honestly, the journey is more exciting than the destination. I just do it, and I do it for my mom.”
“People walk up to me on the street and say, ‘Thank you.’ It’s like, ‘You’re welcome,'” she added.
