Lala’s day.
Reclusive actress Lara Flynn Boyle made a rare weekend trip to Los Angeles.
The Twin Peaks actress was spotted smoking a cigarette while walking her rescue dog Shrimp, according to photos obtained by Page Six.
Boyle was casually strolling around wearing a gray sweatshirt with the word “Ireland” written in white letters, khaki pants and sneakers.
The “Men in Black II” star, 56, was last seen in public in June 2025, when she was walking her dog in the Bel Air neighborhood.
Boyle stopped to chat with neighbors before returning home.
The actress is best known for her breakout role as high school student Donna Hayward in Seasons 1 and 2 of Twin Peaks.
She has appeared in successful franchise films such as “Wayne’s World” and “Men in Black II,” and was nominated for an Emmy Award for her role as prosecutor Helen Gamble in the legal drama “The Practice.”
As Boyle’s fame grew, she came under scrutiny as tabloids covered her every move, including her appearance and her high-profile romance with Jack Nicholson, 33 years her senior.
After marrying real estate developer Donald Ray Thomas in 2006, the “Threesome” actress’ work waned, but paparazzi still followed her and she was once photographed drinking whiskey in a car.
Despite all the negative attention, Boyle never considered leaving Hollywood completely.
“I never wanted to give in. Every time I felt down or felt sorry for myself, I tried not to complain,” she told People in 2024.
“My mother would sometimes bring me articles about other actresses to show me that I wasn’t the only one being treated badly,” she added.
