Rumors of a double date surfaced on Saturday when Kendall Jenner and Jacob Elordi were photographed leaving a Fanatics party with sister Kylie Jenner and partner Timothée Chalamet. A source spoke to People magazine about the group outing, confirming that both “couples” have “similar personalities and lifestyles” and that “they all get along very well.”
Chalamet and Elordi are both Oscar nominees this year, and Kylie has been spending time with Elordi at industry events. She “really likes him” and is supportive of her sister’s budding relationship with him, the source said. “She’s excited for Kendall to spend time with him.”
Chalamet also knows about Elordi. “Before Kendall and Jacob got close,[they were]friendly,” the source detailed. “They spend a lot of time around each other during awards season and naturally started operating in similar circles.”
One of the reasons the two actors bonded was because they “had the same attitude about fame,” the source explained. “We’re both pretty low-key, actually. We like to stay out of the spotlight as much as possible. We have a lot of respect for each other.”
Kendall and Elordi first became romantically linked at Coachella in April. A source told Entertainment Tonight on April 23 that the pair had been meeting privately for several weeks prior to the music festival.
“Kendall and Jacob have been running in similar circles for years, but in recent months they have become attracted to each other and started having an affair,” a source said. “It was fun for Kendall to have a new love.”
They connected “easily,” the official added. “We get along well because we’re both modest and take our careers seriously.”
