Amy Schumer says she “doesn’t feel as much sexual feelings” after her “botched colonoscopy.”
According to US Weekly, the actress gave an update on her health during a recent Dear Media By Night podcast event, saying she feels “happier than I’ve ever been.”
The 44-year-old has gone through a number of changes in her life over the past year, including a significant weight loss and separation from husband Chris Fischer.
Last December, Schumer told her Instagram followers that she lost 50 pounds to cope with a hormonal disorder called Cushing’s syndrome, which she was diagnosed with in 2024.
Before that, Schumer admitted that she was taking the weight-loss drug semaglutide after trying Wigovy three years ago and couldn’t stop vomiting.
“I couldn’t stand it,” she said in an Instagram video last March. “I don’t know if they changed the formula or not. Regardless.”
The “Trainwreck” actress also assured fans that her weight loss had nothing to do with the end of her marriage to Fisher, 45.
The ex-girlfriends, who share a 7-year-old son, Jean, announced they were divorcing in December after nearly eight years of marriage.
“Blah, blah, blah, Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our seven-year marriage,” Schumer captioned a lengthy Instagram post.
“We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son. We would appreciate your respecting our privacy at this time,” she added.
The “I Feel Pretty” star then filed for divorce from the professional chef in January of this year.
However, a source told Page Six that even though the former couple broke up, they were still living together because of Jean.
“She expects that they will be co-parenting full-time together and that she will see Jean as much, if not more,” a source said between their December breakup and January filing for divorce. “For the sake of the kids, they’re still pretty much under the same roof.”
The source also said that Schumer “hopes they will continue to be very united when it comes to raising their son.”
