Former “Bachelor” star Lauren Burnham revealed she’s still “furious” at Alex Cooper years later after the “Call Her Daddy” host repeatedly mocked her baby.
Burnham revealed on TikTok Friday that she is not a fan of Cooper or the podcast. The reason: “They’re continuing this regular segment, and they thought it would be funny to make fun of our unborn children.”
The former reality TV star was referring to her 6-year-old daughter Alessi with husband Arie Luyendyk Jr.
“It’s fine to make fun of us, but they went too far. They made regular shows before and after she was born, where they sexualized our child and talked about her in very inappropriate and hateful ways,” Burnham claimed.
In one segment, Cooper and then-co-host Sophia Franklin criticized Burnham and her husband as parents, accusing them of “child abuse” of their baby after creating an Instagram account for Burnham. A 2019 video shared on social media showed Franklin imitating young baby Alessi for listeners, while Cooper joked that the couple was “prostituting” their daughter for money online.
Burnham initially considered taking legal action against Cooper, but she and her husband ultimately decided against it, hoping the joke would “blow over.” But the podcast host “kept going forever.”
“Eventually she stopped, but we forgot about it and now it’s coming back, so I’m still very angry,” said Burnham, who also shares four-year-old twins Senna and Lux and seven-month-old daughter Livi with Luyendyk.
“I just hope that this controversy that’s embroiling her right now makes her reconsider the levels she’s willing to stoop to to get attention, views, and whatever else she wants. That’s not okay, and that’s all I have to say about it.”
Representatives for Mr. Cooper did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Burnham previously spoke about her beef with Cooper on an episode of the podcast “Unplanned” in 2023.
“It really pissed me off that they mentioned her and then made inappropriate comments right after. It was very disrespectful,” she said at the time.
“Allie was like, ‘Don’t do anything.’ He was trying to get a lawyer. Honestly, they’d be in trouble for doing that. That’s not okay. I didn’t say anything because he felt like if we brought this up publicly, it would just make things worse. That’s what they want,” she said.
It’s no surprise that the reality star is already taking sides in Cooper and Alix Earle’s feud.
“I’m always rooting for team @alixearle,” Burnham wrote via her Instagram Story on Thursday. “It’s about time Alex Cooper was called up. Yeah, it’s personal.”
