Megan Thee Stallion’s ex-boyfriend Pardison Fontaine shared a video of himself singing a breakup song shortly after the singer split from NBA star Klay Thompson.
The hitmaker belted out a non-instrumental version of Jagged Edge’s 1999 song “He Can’t Love U” via Instagram on Saturday.
“If he can’t be a man and do to you the way he does to me, then you should never want to be with him,” he said. “I tell you, he cannot love you as I love you.”
Fontaine, 36, captioned the clip: “Jagged edges too under 8 @official_je.”
Fans of the “Backin’ It Up” rapper believed he was sending cryptic messages to Megan, 31, including one that read, “He wants her back.”
Another added: “Timing for me” regarding when the video was posted.
“Give her back,” a third man called out, while another joked: “I know what you’re doing.”
Representatives for Fontaine and Megan could not immediately be reached for comment to Page Six.
The former lovers confirmed their relationship in February 2021 and broke up in 2023.
It’s unclear why she stopped, but in the same year Megan released the single “Cobra”, a song about catching a cheater.
However, Fontaine denied the rumors and claimed he had never been intimate with another woman.
“Is hiding text messages cheating on your partner? On that point, I would say (I cheated). It’s inappropriate, but it’s true,” he said on Angela Yee’s “Lip Service.”
On Saturday, Megan told Page Six that she had broken up with Thompson, 36, after being together for about a year.
“I have made the decision to end my relationship with Clay. Trust, loyalty and respect are non-negotiables in our relationship and when those values are compromised, there is no way forward,” she said.
The same day, she accused the Dallas Mavericks star of cheating in a scathing Instagram post.
