Bravo has revealed that it has discovered the source of the dramatic audio of Ciara Miller and Amanda Batula facing off at the “Summer House” season 10 reunion.
The network said in a statement Sunday that the fraudulently leaked audio was from someone involved in the production of the reunion, which is scheduled to air May 26 on Bravo.
“An investigation into the recent leak of ‘Summer House’ Reunion audio has concluded that the audio was recorded without permission and distributed by individuals involved in the production of Reunion,” the statement reads.
The network said “appropriate actions were taken” and there is no evidence that cast members were involved in the breach.
“We take this matter seriously and will continue to take appropriate measures to address unauthorized distribution of content,” the statement continued.
“We are aware that more fraudulent audio is in circulation, and we caution all parties and platforms to refrain from posting, sharing, and amplifying fraudulent audio.”
In shocking audio shared on Instagram, Ms Miller called her former best friend Ms Batula a “fucking snake” for dating ex-boyfriend West Wilson.
“There are millions of other assholes in New York City and you chose that one guy,” Miller, 30, told Batula, 34.
Mr Miller also accused Mr Batula and Mr Wilson, 31, of knowing “how strange” their relationship is but “still choosing to do it”.
Batula, who recently went through a divorce from Kyle Cook, 43, defended herself by saying, “I can’t help someone I like and am attracted to.”
Reunion organizer Andy Cohen on Friday slammed the leaked audio.
“People spent 10 hours yesterday venting their emotions. It’s disgusting and illegal for anyone to leak or distribute this,” Cohen wrote in the thread.
“It’s disrespectful to the production and the tears shed by the cast,” he added. “Let’s get through the season and we’ll find out everything in time.”
“Bravo is taking this very seriously. They’re conducting a full-scale cyber investigation. So if you’re the one who leaked[the information]maybe you should seek a cover-up or a negotiation,” Cook said in an Instagram Stories video on Friday.
Meanwhile, Batula and Wilson are still very close despite the scandal. The two left the “Summerhouse” reunion taped in New York City on Thursday night. Photo obtained exclusively by Page Six.
