Kyle Cook reveals who he called a “shithole” in a leaked audio clip from the Summer House season 10 reunion.
“This is directed at West (Wilson),” he wrote via a thread on Friday after fans speculated that he was talking to ex-girlfriend Amanda Batula (who Wilson is currently dating).
According to Webster’s Dictionary, a “schmuck” is defined as “a foolish, stupid, or contemptible person.”
The comments came shortly after Cooke gave his “two cents” about a bombshell audio leak in which co-star Ciara Miller deceived Batula and labeled her a “fucking snake.”
“Bravo takes this very seriously. They’re conducting a full-scale cyber investigation. So if you’re the one who leaked[information]you might want to seek a cover-up or a consultation,” Cook said Friday, responding to the “outlandish” conspiracy theory in a video shared to his Instagram Stories.
The Lover Boy founder, 43, went on to deny speculation that he or his castmates would leak the audio themselves.
He added, “This is not a phone on set. Folks, if there is a phone on set, it’s wedged behind a pillow or couch cushion. So it’s not visible on camera. I don’t really see why anyone would benefit from leaking this. That goes for the producers, the crew, and Bravo.”
“This is clearly someone who acted on his own. There are audio clips all over the place, so it doesn’t even look like he was paid.”
Cook also speculated that the leak may have been caused by someone “taking a cell phone and holding it up to a speaker and getting a live feed.”
“There’s only a couple of separate rooms with monitors, and of course there’s the actual set. You can hear them fiddling with their phones at the beginning and end, so it sounds like they’re trying to be discreet,” he said.
“The whole cast’s audio itself sounds like it’s coming from our microphones,” he added, adding that there was “no way in hell” anyone from the cast could record their own on-set audio.
The “Summer House” Season 10 reunion, which was set to discuss Batula and Wilson’s shocking relationship announcement, was filmed Thursday in New York City.
The reunion will be broadcast in May.
