Victoria Beckham insists she and David Beckham “always put the kids first” as their feud with son Brooklyn Beckham intensifies.
When asked about her “challenging” year on Tuesday’s “Today” show, the fashion designer did not reveal her eldest son’s name, but spoke passionately about her “love” for her four children.
Victoria, who shares Brooklyn-based children Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14, with David, insisted: “We always put our children first. We love our children very much and our focus has always been on protecting them.”
The Spice Girls member, 52, went on to praise the “amazing people” who have surrounded her and her husband, 50, during “difficult times.”
“Myself and David, we’re very close,” she told co-hosts Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones. “We’re very close with my parents and David’s parents. We support each other in everything we do.”
In the sit-down, which was Victoria’s first TV interview since Brooklyn’s verbal abuse in January, she emphasized how “blessed” she feels despite her family issues.
“[David and I]have really grown up together. We support each other,” she said. “We both have big dreams. We’re both very, very ambitious and we support each other. I want him to be the best version of himself and he wants that for me.”
Notably, Victoria broke her silence on the family drama that made headlines last week.
Asked about Brooklyn in a Wall Street Journal profile published Thursday, Victoria said, “We’ve always felt that way. We love our kids so much. We’ve always tried to be the best parents we can be.”
“We’ve been in the public eye for over 30 years now, and all we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that’s all I really have to say about this.”
Brooklyn reportedly began distancing himself from the Beckham family after marrying wife Nicola Peltz in 2022.
The “Cooking with Brooklyn” star was “out of contact” with his family in the summer of 2025, Page Six reported — and by January, he requested that the rest of the Beckhams only contact them through their lawyers.
The feud came to a head that same month when Brooklyn released a bombshell statement on her Instagram Story declaring that she “doesn’t want to reconcile” with her family.
His scathing six-slide rant confirmed that the issue stemmed from his family’s disapproval of Peltz, with Brooklyn directly hitting back at the “narrative” that his partner, 31, is “controlling” him.
Many members of the Beckham family have offered Brooklyn olive branches via social media, but Beckham continues to ignore them.
Most recently, on Victoria’s birthday on Friday, Brooklyn remained silent as David, Romeo, Cruise and Harper posted sweet tributes to the matriarch.
