Madonna’s most ardent fans are hoping that the Material Girl will tour again.
Anticipation is even higher following the announcement of her new album, Confessions on a Dancefloor: Part II, and her surprise performance with Sabrina Carpenter at Coachella on Friday night.
“We don’t know yet,” Madonna’s longtime manager Guy O’Seary said Saturday when asked about the possibility of a tour.
I met Ausiary at the Breakthrough Awards Ceremony in Santa Monica.
When I asked him if he wanted to see Madonna tour again, he said: “I want to see her happy, so whatever makes her happy, I’ll be there to the best of my ability.”
Oseary took to Instagram on Monday morning to clarify his remarks, after this article was originally posted. “Of course she will tour again,” he wrote. “She wants to share her music with her fans. No plans have been finalized yet. Stay tuned.”

Oseary said the Coachella performance was conceived by Madonna and Carpenter himself.
“Madonna told me she had talked about it with Sabrina,” he said. “This wasn’t my idea. It was a great idea. I think the core of it is what was shown last night: love.”
He also said, “Last night was just…I mean, my feet were off the ground. It was so beautiful. I loved seeing her joy. It was emotional. That opening was amazing… It was a really special night and it was the 20th anniversary[of Coachella].”
Madonna performed at the Dance Tent in 2006. She joined Carpenter during his headline performance, singing “Vogue,” “Like a Prayer,” and a duet that appears to be from his new album, “Confessions.” Madonna, 67, wore the same lavender corset and boots she wore in 2006.
“Twenty years ago today, I performed at Coachella. I was in the dance tent and performed ‘Confessions on a Dance Floor: Part I’ for the first time in America. It was so exciting for me,” the Grammy winner told the crowd. “So you can imagine how happy I am to be back after 20 years, but this is a full-circle moment for me and it means a lot to me.”
On Tuesday, Madonna deleted her Instagram. Her bio states that the first lyric of the original album’s lead single, “Hung Up,” reads, “Time passes so slowly…” She released the first single from “Part II” on Friday, “I Feel So Free.” The full album is scheduled to be released on July 3rd.
Asked about Madonna’s guest appearance alongside Julia Garner on the next season of The Studio, and the ongoing development of a biopic and limited series, Ozery smiled and politely declined to comment. “I can’t talk about that,” he said. “I’ll let[Madonna]talk about that.”
