Prime Video’s pastoral series Clarkson’s Farm, which follows TV personality Jeremy Clarkson as he runs his Diddley Squat farm in Oxfordshire, has confirmed the start date for Season 5.
The popular show, which has made stars out of Mr. Clarkson’s farmworkers such as Caleb Cooper, will return to screens on June 3 for a four-episode series.
The second episode will air on June 10th, and the final two episodes will air on June 17th.
Clarkson’s partner Lisa Hogan also features heavily on the show.
The synopsis for Season 5 reads: “Clarkson’s Farm is back. In the midst of a government budget that throws Britain’s farming community into turmoil, Jeremy decides that big changes are needed to make the farm run more smoothly.” “But while the farm is looking to go high-tech, and this is Caleb’s first overseas trip, there is an even bigger development going on at Diddley Squat, which will pose an even bigger challenge.”
The series first premiered on Prime Video in 2021 and quickly gained a huge following, with viewers captivated by the beautiful scenery and drama of rural life, in part because Clarkson had no prior farming experience.
Despite the show’s popularity, “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” has never won a BAFTA. Earlier this year, the presenter lamented that he had a BAFTA nomination certificate taped to his office wall, calling it his “wall of failure.”
“But I don’t have any actual BAFTAs, because I’ve never won one and never will,” he continued. “They don’t give Baftas to people like me.”
