Addison Rae took to the stage for her Coachella performance on Saturday night. During her set, she welcomed a surprise guest, Olivia Rodrigo. The two stars performed a duet of “Headphones On.”
They then moved on to “Drop Dead,” a new single from Rodrigo’s third studio album. Sounds pretty sad for a girl who fell in love this much. The two friends wore coordinated looks and hopped around the stage holding hands.
Rodrigo wore a custom pink leather bra from R&M Leathers with a studded bow on the front and blue denim Diesel jeans with off-white Christian Louboutin Mary Jane heels. Rae also wore a brighter shade of pink bra, matching bottoms, a red vinyl jacket, red stockings, and red heels.
With the release of the album, Rodrigo has spoken more about the album’s themes and how he has changed since he last released new music. In an April interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music, Rodrigo spoke a little about his current vulnerability.
“I’m scared,” she admitted. “I haven’t released music in a long time, so it’s really hurtful to think that this is what I’ve been going through, this is what I’ve been thinking about. It’s a very unique experience to like something so personal on such a large scale.”
“But I love it. I think the reason I love writing songs is because I can process it myself. So maybe I can help other people process it and feel it, too. But it’s nerve-wracking. I’d be lying if I said it’s like, ‘Wow, this feels totally normal and intuitive.'”
