Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato reunited for the first time in 10 years.
The “Bill Murder” star shocked fans on Monday when she attended the opening concert of Lovato’s It’s Not That Deep tour at the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida.
Gomez, 33, documented her outing on Instagram Stories and also shared a photo of her hugging Lovato backstage.
In another slide, Gomez gushed about how “shocked” she was by Lovato’s show.
“Tears are flowing,” she wrote in the snapshot. “@ddlovato – This was definitely one of the best shows. Oh and the vocals too? Hmm, I was really surprised.”
Another slide showed a video of Gomez dancing in a suite wearing a black and pink “It’s Not That Deep” hoodie.
During the concert, Disney alumnus and former Lovato member Joe Jonas made a guest appearance, singing two songs from the “Camp Rock” era. Gomez also famously dated Joe’s brother Nick Jonas from 2008 to 2010.
Gomez and Lovato go all the way back to 2002, when they co-starred on “Barney & Friends.”
The two remained close during their time at Disney, with Gomez starring in Wizards of Waverly Place and Lovato appearing in Sonny with a Chance. They also co-starred in the 2009 film Princess Protection Program.
However, shortly after leaving Disney, the two appeared to have a falling out, which Lovato admitted to in a 2020 interview with Harper’s Bazaar.
“I’m not friends with her,” Lovato told the magazine.
But she quickly clarified, “When you grow up with someone, you always have love for them. … I will always have love for her and I wish everyone the best.”
Lovato also said at the time that Miley Cyrus was “the only person I’ve stayed in touch with since then.”
However, Lovato and Gomez eventually reconciled, as evidenced by Lovato congratulating Gomez on her engagement to Benny Blanco last year.
“I wish her nothing but the best,” the “Heart Attack” singer said on “Watch What Happens Live” in September.
Lovato also praised Gomez and Blanco’s joint album, “I Said I Love You First.”
“Really, really great job. I love the songs on it,” she said.
Gomez and Blanco, 38, tied the knot in Santa Barbara, California, later that month.
Meanwhile, Lovato married musician Jutes in Santa Barbara in May 2025.
Gomez and Lovato did not attend each other’s weddings.
