Justin Bieber returned to Coachella to play a headline set. The star stuck to songs from his new albums Swag and Swag II, performing songs like “Yukon” and “Daisies.” Hailey Bieber and Kylie Jenner were seen in the audience cheering him on.
After months of preparation, Justin Bieber returned to the Coachella stage and performed his first headline show at the festival last night. Bieber delivered an intimate performance, drawing from his albums “Swag” and “Swag II” in the set list. Standout moments during the set included Bieber revisiting his past work with a live search via YouTube and a guest appearance by Kid LaRoi.
Fans quickly shared footage of his show on social media.
His wife Hailey Bieber was spotted in the crowd with her friend Kylie Jenner.
The complete setlist included songs from his latest album and past work.
Back in October, a source detailed to People how much effort Bieber put into his Coachella performance.
At that point, Bieber appeared on Twitch to show how he and his team were preparing for the festival. A source close to him told the outlet that Bieber was intentionally showing off his process as “his way of showing his fans that he’s excited and working hard for his headlining set at Coachella.”
In September, shortly after Bieber was announced as the festival’s headliner, a source gave People an update on how Bieber and his wife were doing amid the news.
“Both Justin and Hailey are doing well now,” the source said. “They just celebrated their wedding anniversary. He’s at the top of the charts and she’s breaking beauty records. They’re both very focused. Justin is so grateful for his fans. He’s all excited about Coachella. Hailey will be there, of course.”
Bieber recently performed “Yukon” at the Grammy Awards, marking his first stage appearance in several years. TMZ reported that he also played a private concert at the Troubadour in Los Angeles this past weekend.
