‘Summer House’ star Amanda Batula certainly didn’t look too apologetic while flirting with co-star West Wilson during their Friday night dinner date.
Sources exclusively tell us that the couple were seen locking lips while sitting on a double date in New York City shortly after being spotted at Blind Tiger Alehouse.
“Amanda Batula and West Wilson were on a double date at Emmet’s. After they made out at the table, Amanda hid under his sweater,” a source said.
The source added, “They seemed to be having a good time. They even kissed. They were there for a while. They were at Blind Tiger before dinner.”
Video from the outing obtained by Page Six showed the pair having a good time and laughing as they ate.
One of the clips showed Batula, 34, sitting next to Wilson, 31, with her hair down at a table.
Shortly before dinner, the new couple stopped by Blind Tiger Alehouse for drinks. This is the first time they have been seen together in public since confirming their shocking romance two weeks ago.
Batula, who has faced criticism for the nature of her relationship with Wilson, seemed to have made a gentle start to her public appearances by sharing an apologetic statement on her Instagram Story earlier in the day, but this outing doesn’t seem to have garnered her any positive attention from fans.
“I wanted to get back up and say I’m truly sorry to everyone I’ve disappointed or hurt,” she wrote.
In his message, Batula did not name his former friend and Wilson’s ex-girlfriend, Ciara Miller, but apologized to “people I personally know who have been in contact with me individually.”
The reality star continued, “For the sake of my mental health, I’m trying to start living my life with some sense of normalcy. If you see me out or posting online, please know that this still weighs very heavily on me.”
Batula insisted, “I am not ignoring what is happening and what is unfolding,” and clarified that “I will attend the reunion.”
Fans took to social media to slam her for being spotted with Wilson and speculated that there might be an ulterior motive behind her apology.
“Mandy posted that post because she met West at the bar LOL,” a commenter wrote under Dumois’ post, citing Batula’s Friday Instagram message about the pair’s sighting.
Another fan wrote, “She posted today so she could go out tonight.”
