Natasha Lyonne is speaking out after being removed from a Delta Airlines flight for displaying erratic behavior.
“My heart goes out to all the unpaid TSA employees at the airport,” the actress wrote on Thursday.
The actress, who missed her scheduled appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show on Thursday, added: “I was looking forward to speaking honestly with @DrewBarrymore yesterday but that wasn’t on the cards.”
After we broke the news, she also sent a shoutout to Page Six.
“Who owns Page 6 of the New York Post again now?”
As we exclusively reported, Lyonne, 47, was seen being taken off a flight from Los Angeles to New York just hours after appearing on the red carpet at Sunday’s HBO “Euphoria” Season 3 premiere.
On the plane, she appeared passed out in her first class seat and the flight attendant asked her to close her laptop and fasten her seatbelt for takeoff, but she did not comply.
Witnesses said numerous flight attendants repeatedly tried to get the star to comply with their orders, but she appeared to be dozing off with her sunglasses on, at one point saying in surprise: “Oh! I was scared!”
Her laptop was eventually taken from her hand and the plane taxied to the runway, but then returned to the gate.
Delta staff asked Leong if he needed medical attention and told him he needed to get off the plane. When the “American Pie” star asked them overhead where they were, she was told they were still in LA and the plane wasn’t going anywhere until she got off.
Then she quietly went to the bathroom and came out eating a bag of pretzels.
In the end, Leon obediently got off the plane.
After the plane was delayed for just over an hour, the captain told the crowded cabin: “For some reason, we have a passenger… who is not following basic commands… We have a passenger who is not going to be able to go on a mission tonight, so we have decided to book another flight for you. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we will get you to New York as quickly and safely as possible.”
Lyonne turned heads at the Euphoria Season 3 premiere wearing a completely see-through top, nude bottoms that looked like an open corset, and black stockings.
She guest stars on the latest season of the HBO hit, which also stars Zendaya, Sidney Sweeney and Jacob Elordi.
Lyon, who publicly battled drug and alcohol addiction in the mid-2000s, revealed in January that he had relapsed after 10 years of sobriety.
But last month she said she was “much better” and “bounced back.”
“I want to thank our recovery community and our fans for standing by and supporting us,” she wrote to X. “While I hope to keep this journey private in some way, I naturally look forward to sharing my experiences, strength, and hope. My heart goes out to everyone who is going through this.”
