A source detailed how Shiloh joined the project, revealing that no one on set, including her dance team, Culture, knew who she was “until after filming was over.”
“[She]likes dancing, but she’s not looking for extra attention or fame,” a source told Entertainment Tonight.
Shiloh showcases his talent in “What’s a Girl to Do,” where he serves as a backup dancer alongside K-Pop star Dayoung. She appears in almost every scene.
She also kept her name relatively hidden in the credits, where she is listed along with her fellow dancers as “Shi.”

Dayoung shared a behind-the-scenes photo, giving a look back at herself, Shiloh, and the rest of the dance crew who participated in the project together.
Prior to the music video’s release, a representative from Dayo’s entertainment company Starship told the Mainichi Business Newspaper Star Today that Shiloh was truly unknown and got this role thanks to her skills.
“We held an open audition in the United States to cast the cast for Dayoung’s music video,” a rep explained. “Among the participants were several performers who belonged to a dance crew called ‘Culture.’ Shiro was selected in the final round and was chosen to take part in Dayoung’s music video. Even after filming, I had no idea that she was the child of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, and only recently found out by chance.”
In February 2025, Angelina spoke on a panel at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival about how Shiloh and her five other children (Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Vivian, and Knox) view fame. She described Shiloh as “very private.”
The actress revealed that her six children have “no interest” in becoming movie stars.
“They really hate the celebrity part, and Shiloh especially hates it,” she said via People, adding, “In a very healthy way, I think they don’t… It’s not normal. It’s really stupid.”
She alluded to Shiloh’s love of dancing during the discussion, saying, “Some people dance, some people paint, some people like theater, but no one really wants to be on screen.”
