Newly released body camera footage shows Tiger Woods crouched on the side of the road moments after he crashed his car on Jupiter Island, Florida, last week.

Shocking footage shows the great golfer, 50, wearing sunglasses and a backwards hat, kneeling in the grass as he is questioned by police.

“I looked down at my cell phone and all of a sudden I heard a bang,” Woods told responding officers.

Newly released body camera footage shows Tiger Woods (pictured) standing on the side of the road after crashing his car last week.
The video shows Golf, wearing sunglasses and a backwards hat, kneeling on the grass as he is questioned by police.

Police then patted down Woods to check for possible injuries to the five-time Masters champion.

Additional body camera footage from the road showed the golfer’s troubled Land Rover overturned.

“Who hit him?” a police officer asked the driver of the other vehicle involved in the horrific crash.

“I looked down at my phone and then all of a sudden I heard a bang,” Woods explained on his body camera video.
Police could also be seen on the video patting Woods down for possible injuries.

“He hit me,” the other driver replied, before pointing to Woods’ overturned Land Rover.

A representative for Woods did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The PGA legend was arrested on March 27th after a car accident a few blocks from his Florida home.

Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek acknowledged in a press conference that Woods “exhibited signs of impairment” and “refused a urine test” after the accident.

Additional footage showed the golfer’s Land Rover on its side (seen in the background).
“He hit me,” the driver of the car hit said, pointing to Woods’ overturned Land Rover.

A police report obtained by Page Six revealed that “two white pills” that were later “determined to be hydrocodone” were found in the golfer’s “left pants pocket.”

Woods claimed he had not consumed alcohol or illegal drugs before the accident, but said in an affidavit that he admitted to taking “several” prescription drugs.

Responding officers said they “observed several signs of impairment” while speaking with Woods, who was “sweating profusely.”

When Woods was asked to remove his sunglasses, officers noticed that his eyes were “bloodshot and glassy” and his pupils were “extremely dilated.”

According to the police report, Woods told deputies he was looking down at his cell phone and changing the radio station and did not notice the car in front of him slowing down.

Woods was eventually handcuffed and taken into custody and charged with misdemeanor counts of DUI causing property damage and refusing to submit to a legal test. He was released from custody approximately eight hours later.

The embattled golfer pleaded not guilty Tuesday in his latest DUI case. Hours later, Woods spoke out about the arrest, saying he was taking a break from golf to “seek treatment” amid his recent legal troubles.

“I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today,” he shared via X on Tuesday.

Woods continued, “I have decided to step away for a period of time to receive treatment and focus on my health.”
“This is what I need to do to prioritize my health and work towards a lasting recovery.”

Woods added that he is “committed” to taking the time he needs to “come back healthier, stronger and more focused, both personally and professionally.”

“I thank everyone for their understanding and support and ask for the privacy of my family, loved ones, and myself at this time,” he concluded.
