Last week, the glamorous atmosphere of New York City was in the air.
Last Thursday, Amanda Peet celebrated the Cinema Society screening of her indie film Fantasy Life with a lively afterparty at West Village hotspot Deja Vu.
A source told Page Six that the restaurant, known for its caviar bar, was a “great place” to hang out after the show.
“Amanda Peet attended with her two daughters and received compliments from her ‘Your Friends and Neighbors’ co-stars Lena Hall and Mark Tolman at the packed party,” a source said.
We hear that other stars in attendance, including Helena Christensen, Zosia Mamet, Candice Bushnell, 1923’s Brian Geraghty, director Matthew Shea, and Cinema Society founder Andrew Safer, also “ate caviar.”
There was also an “overflowing” seafood tower and artisanal cocktails.
Prior to the party, celebrities including Peter Dinklage and Diane Lane previewed the film at the Angelica Film Center.
On Wednesday, royal photographer Chris Jackson hosted a soiree at N. Peel on the Upper East Side to celebrate Rizzoli’s new book, Modern Majesties: The British Royal Family in a New Era.
The Getty Images lensman spoke exclusively to Page Six about his experience working with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
“It was always a great experience photographing them,” he said of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, adding, “I did everything behind the scenes.”
Ms Jackson said it was “fun” to photograph them because “there are so many different people in the royal family”.
He also shared an observation about Prince William and Duchess Kate’s three children, sharing, “It’s been amazing to watch them grow up.”
Jackson also reflected on how Duchess Kate and Charles III were there for each other during their simultaneous battles with cancer.
The night before, comedian Jeff Ross hosted a very exclusive cocktail party at San Vicente, a members-only club in the West Village.
I hear he hosted a screening of his upcoming Netflix special, “Broadway’s Take a Banana for the Ride.”
Last Monday, the cast of Broadway’s “Giant” celebrated opening night at the Capitol in Little Italy.
We hear that John Lithgow, Aya Cash, Elliott Levy, and Sarah Paulson, Sara Bareilles, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Justin Mitka, Bill Irwin, Dianne Wiest, Blythe Danner, and Evan Jonigkeit attended the gala.
Nationally, Eric Dane’s ex Priya Jain won the original Mr. Brainwash at the Snowbowl in Aspen on Saturday. The raffle benefiting the Pediatric Oncology Support Fund had 20 guests each donate $5,000 for a chance to win.
“On such a special night, it felt right to contribute to supporting children battling cancer through COSF. I have always loved the fun and optimistic nature of Mr. Brainwash’s work,” Jain said in a statement.
“Seeing the red confetti on the balloon was such a pleasant surprise. I will always keep this picture as a memento of a beautiful evening supporting an important cause.”
