Taylor Swift made her first red carpet appearance of the year at tonight’s iHeartRadio Music Awards. For this special day, the singer wore a custom Wiederhooft look that included a pale green corset top, miniskirt, Jimmy Choo shoes, and, noticeably, omitted her signature red lip.
Swift famously likes to use her outfits as Easter eggs, and tonight several fans speculated that her iHeartRadio Music Awards look was one of the big clues, teasing that her next album will be a re-recording of her debut Taylor Swift album. The color of the corset and skirt, as well as Swift’s more minimal makeup and hairstyle, seem to pay homage to Taylor Swift’s cover.
She’s up for nine nominations tonight, including Artist of the Year, Pop Artist of the Year, Favorite Tour Style (The Era’s Tour) and Favorite On Screen (End of an Era Documentary Series). Her song “The Fate of Ophelia” is nominated for Song of the Year, Pop Song of the Year, Favorite TikTok Dance, Best Lyrics, and Best Music Video.
Swift has kept a low profile for most of 2026, most recently being photographed out and about with Travis Kelce in February. She attended Beyoncé’s Oscars afterparty last week, but kept a pretty low profile that night.
In mid-December, a source spoke to People magazine about Taylor’s state of mind at the end of 2025. “Taylor has had an incredibly fulfilling and tough year. She’s really proud of everything she’s accomplished,” a source said. “She works extremely hard and her schedule is non-stop, but despite everything that’s going on, she and Travis still put a lot of effort into their relationship.”
The source added that Kelce and Swift are “really supportive of each other’s careers and understand the demands that come with their respective jobs. They make time to be together as much as possible and really value their alone time.”
Kelce signed a contract with the Kansas City Chiefs this month to play one more season, and Swift released the music video for “Opalite” in February. “Elizabeth Taylor” will be her next radio single from “The Life of a Showgirl,” Billboard reported on March 11.
