Kayla Nicole, Travis Kelsey’s ex-girlfriend, is throwing her hat in the ring for the next “Bachelorette” after ABC canceled Taylor Frankie Paul’s season.
The fitness influencer took to TikTok on Wednesday and posted a video titled, “My audition to be the next ‘Bachelorette.'”
In the clip, she lip-synced to a playful voice and listed off a list of qualities she made up to impress potential suitors.
“Hey @ABC, I heard you need a replacement?🌹😂,” she captioned the post.
Nicole’s video was released a week after ABC pulled Paul’s season from airing amid an ongoing domestic violence investigation involving the reality TV star and her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen.
Additionally, just days before “The Bachelorette” was scheduled to air, a video was released showing that Paul was involved in another domestic violence incident with Mortensen in 2023.
Page Six reported Wednesday that Utah State Police are currently investigating a third alleged domestic violence case involving the “Mormon Wife Secrets” star and the former actor.
Paul and Mortensen, who shares two-year-old son Ever, dated on-again, off-again from 2022 to 2025, with Mortensen claiming they slept together the night before Paul left to film season 22 of the ABC dating show.
As for Nicole, her last public relationship was with a Kansas City Chiefs tight end.
The ex-girlfriend was in a relationship from 2017 to 2022, but they broke up several times over the past five years.
Even after the pair announced their breakup for good in May 2022, Nicole continued to speak publicly about the athlete, especially when Kelce and Taylor Swift went public with their relationship in September 2023.
In a recent jab at the engaged couple, Nicole appeared in a 2026 Super Bowl commercial for sports app Sleeper, playing “a former NFL player.”
But last month, she changed her tune while reflecting on her relationship with Kelce, calling him “right guy, wrong time” during a TikTok live.
“No one knows. It could be compatibility, the right person, or the wrong time,” she said, referring to their breakup.
The sportswriter added that while she is open to relationships, “dating in 2026 will be much harder.” That seems to be why she’s now eyeing a new “Bachelorette” role.
