Rebecca Gayheart and her two daughters, Billie and Georgia, made their first public appearance since Eric Dane’s death.
The three attended the Los Angeles premiere of Zendaya and Robert Pattinson’s new movie The Drama on Tuesday, where they posed for photos together on the red carpet.
Gayheart, 54, wore a red, white and black striped dress, which she accessorized with black heels and a small pink handbag.
Billie, 16, wore a white lace crop top, matching skirt, purple heels and carried a white Dior bag.
Georgia, 14, looked equally chic in a bright pink dress and transparent heels. She also brought a small black purse.
Gayheart and the teens were all putting on a brave face after experiencing a devastating loss just a month ago.
Dane passed away on February 19th while battling ALS. He was 53 years old.
The “Grey’s Anatomy” alum shared Billy and Georgia with Gayheart, whom she separated from in 2018 after 13 years of marriage.
But Gayheart withdrew their divorce papers in March 2025 when Dane was diagnosed with ALS, but later said it was to teach her daughters to be there for their family “even in the worst of times.”
“We tell them, ‘We’re going to show up for people no matter what. He’s our family. He’s your father,'” Gayheart said during a podcast appearance at the time.
She also said that during Dane’s illness, she aimed to make her daughters feel “valued” even though things were “hard, sad and bad” for the family.
Three weeks after Dane’s death, Gayheart told Variety that the family was “still in a state of shock.”
“I want to thank everyone who has been so kind to us over the last few years. It’s been hard and meaningful work and the people have been kind,” she said.
Gayheart also praised Dane’s friends in Hollywood for “supporting me and the girls” since his death.
“I don’t think they’re going anywhere. I think they’re going to be in the long run,” she said. “Hollywood gets a terrible reputation, and that makes me angry, because we have a community of lovely people and I’m so grateful for them.”
In a Netflix special filmed before his death, Dane spoke in detail about their relationship after their separation and praised his estranged wife.
“We’re still really good friends, but we’re not together,” he explained. “We live apart and in separate homes, so a lot of time is lost there. But I made sure to be there when I could and when it mattered.”
Dane added, “We still love each other deeply. I think we just don’t want to live together. But there’s a lot of love there.”
