Josh Pyatt, one of the industry’s top sports agents, has joined WTSL as a partner, bringing his expertise to the company and its WIN Sports Group, founded by Patrick Whitesell and Jason Rubin.

Pyatt, known for managing the careers of LeBron James and Michael Strahan, will lead the new division, WIN Artists. He previously worked at WME as a senior partner and co-head of WME’s sports division.

WIN Sports Group was spun off from WME Sports’ former football business after Silver Lake took WME’s parent company, Endeavor, private last year and Silver Lake senior executive Egon Durban bought a stake in the Las Vegas Raiders. Under league rules, NFL team owners cannot have business relationships with organizations representing players. So Whitesell struck a deal to take over the department and make it an independent entity. WME remains permitted and is expected to continue representing retired NFL players and coaches.

Whitesell’s new company’s clients include Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson and San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa.

“WIN Artists is an opportunity to build something new from the ground up for the reality in which artists thrive.
“Athletes have more influence, ownership and ambition than ever before. Today’s talent is building businesses, IP and platforms far beyond a single lane, and this company is designed to support that scale,” Pyatt said in a prepared statement. By working with Patrick,
