Meghan posted a new video of herself and Lilibet outdoors on her Instagram Story, giving a rare glimpse of her youngest child. In the video, Lilibet can be heard petting the chicken and talking to it. The video was released just days after the Duchess of Sussex dedicated a post to her daughter on International Women’s Day.
Meghan yesterday shared a series of Instagram Stories of herself and her family outdoors, giving a new look at their idyllic family life in Montecito, California. Prince Harry complimented her in the first clip of her arranging a pink bouquet. Another post features her 4-year-old daughter Lilibet petting a rooster.
Lili’s voice can be heard in the video, providing a rare glimpse of the couple’s youngest child in action.
Earlier this month, Meghan shared another photo of Lili to mark International Women’s Day. Meghan captioned the post: “For this woman, someday…”
On Valentine’s Day, the Duchess of Sussex also posted a photo of Lilybet and her father, writing: “These two + (our son) Archie = my forever Valentine ♥️.”
Lili will celebrate her fifth birthday in June, and her younger brother Archie will turn seven in May. Last April, Meghan appeared on The Jamie Cahn Lima Show and talked about creating secret email accounts for her children and sending them videos, photos and audio clips of themselves every day.
“You’ll send emails like, ‘Here’s my report card for today,’ or ‘Oh my gosh, I said the funniest thing this morning,’ or ‘Here’s a picture of us having breakfast,'” she says, adding that these messages can be “things you don’t want to box in, things you don’t want to put pen to paper in your journal.” She intentionally sends voice notes of themselves speaking at bedtime, “because their voices change a lot.”
Meghan said she would hand over the accounts to them when they turned 16 or 18, expressing her hope that they would “look back and say, ‘Oh my God, she loved us so much.'” And I think that’s the best part of being a mother. And back to words of love and gifts. It’s not about the grandeur of the act. That means “I saw it.” I am nurturing you and I see you very deeply. And I’m very happy to see your growth. “And I’m so proud of them. ”
