Production on “Mormon Wives” has been halted as star Taylor Frankie Paul is under investigation for domestic violence charges against ex-Dakota Mortensen.
“They are not filming,” People magazine confirmed on Monday. “Taylor (Frankie Paul) has some pretty serious things going on with her past, so they’ll see what happens. Until that’s resolved, they’ll take a break.”
“The allegations go both ways,” the Draper Police Department said in response to the report.
A spokesperson said, “We contacted the relevant parties on the 24th and 25th (February).”
No further details were released about the alleged altercation between the former couple.
The couple dated on and off from 2022 to 2024 and are raising a one-year-old son named Ever.
The pair briefly broke up in 2023 after Paul allegedly threw a chair at Mortensen and then hit his daughter in return, before fully resolving.
Paul, who shares eight-year-old daughter Indy and five-year-old son Ocean with her ex-husband, was arrested at the time and charged with misdemeanor assault, criminal mischief and domestic violence in the presence of a child.
“All charges have been dropped,” she told “Call Her Daddy” listeners in September 2025 while promoting the next season of “The Bachelorette,” which premieres Sunday.
Paul and Mortensen, 33, reconciled in 2023, but the Hulu personalities broke up again the following year.
The MomTok star admitted in a podcast interview last year that despite several relationship “setbacks,” she and Mortensen were over “for good.”
However, on Thursday’s Season 4 finale of SLOMW, it was revealed that Mortensen and Paul were dating the night before he left to film The Bachelorette.
In a confessional, Mortensen said, “I’m not going to talk to her for probably two months now that she’s leaving. I’d be lying if there wasn’t a part of me that just wants to go…I want to see her (and) be with her, maybe for the last time.”
The morning after stopping by with Ever, he was filmed leaving Paul’s house laughing when a producer asked him what happened.
Amid the headlines for the on-again, off-again couple’s recent spat, a source told People magazine that Paul’s co-stars Jen Affleck, Demi Engeman, Whitney Leavitt, Mikayla Matthews, Macy Neely, Jesse Gaticaula, Leila Taylor and Miranda McWhorter “want nothing to do with her.”
