Saturday Night Live’s newest hosts and musical guests have been announced, with Rockin’ Duo starring Jack Black as host and Jack White as musical guest on April 4th.
“SNL” began its 51st season in October 2025, with hosts and musical guests such as Bad Bunny and Doja Cat, Amy Poehler and Roll Mode, and Sabrina Carpenter, who served as both the host and musical guest for an episode. Previous seasons have also featured stars such as Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa, Charli XCX and Lady Gaga in dual roles.
This season also included first-time hosts Finn Wolfhard, Teyana Taylor, Alexander Skarsgård, and most recently Rivals star Connor Story, who hosted the show on February 28th. So far, musical guests like A$AP Rocky, Geese, Cardi B and Mumford & Sons have performed at Studio 8H this season.
Prior to the season’s premiere, the sketch comedy show made various changes, including a number of cast changes. In December 2025, Bowen Yang shockingly left midway through the season after first joining the cast in 2018. This news follows earlier announcements that Ego Nwodim, Heidi Gardner, Michael Longfellow, Devon Walker, Emil Wakim and John Higgins are all leaving the role.
This season introduced five new cast members: Ben Marshall, Veronica Slokowska, Jeremy Culhane, Cam Patterson, and Tommy Brennan. Marshall, who is currently in his fifth season, first joined the show with his comedy trio Please Don’t Destroy and was promoted to featured cast.
“SNL” airs Saturdays at 11:30pm ET on NBC.
