Savannah Guthrie shared another emotional message celebrating her mother, Nancy Guthrie’s safe return, one month after she disappeared.
“We are feeling the love and prayers from our neighbors, the Tucson community, and the nation π,” the “Today” show host wrote on Instagram Monday.
“Please don’t stop praying and hoping with us. Let’s bring her home.”
Savannah, 54, posted a message along with a photo of a memorial set up outside her home in Nancy, Arizona.
The TV personality was pictured with her sister Annie and brother-in-law Tommaso Cioni at the patriarch’s residence earlier in the day.
The three approached the monument, arm in arm, carrying yellow flowers.
They laid flowers and hugged each other tightly as they stood in front of a sign that read, “Dear Mr. Guthrie’s Family and Neighbors, We Stand With You.”
Other handmade signs read “Take Nancy Home” and “Come Home.”
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department surrounded Savannah, Annie, and Sioni during their emotional outing.
Savannah arrived at the facility as the investigation into Nancy’s disappearance reached its 30th day.
The 84-year-old was apparently taken from her home in the middle of the night and was reported as a missing person on February 1st.
Savannah took to social media platforms to post several heartbreaking videos asking her attacker to “do the right thing.”
The journalist claimed in a new video last week that she and her loved ones have accepted that Nancy may be “already gone.”
“She may already be home with her beloved Lord, dancing in heaven with her mom and dad, her beloved brother Pierce, and our dad,” she said.
Additionally, Savannah has offered a $1 million reward for information leading to her mother.
Investigators have yet to track down the suspects, even though several media outlets received ransom notes demanding $6 million in Bitcoin. The deadline has already passed.
The FBI is also involved in the case, and released porch surveillance footage showing a masked suspect holding a weapon and deactivating Nancy’s camera on the day she went missing.
