The CW has decided to rebroadcast the season 4 premiere of “Sullivan’s Crossing” on April 20th (8:00 PM – 9:00 PM ET/PT).

According to the official logline, the 10-episode fourth season will feature “Maggie Sullivan’s (Morgan Cohan) life at the Crossing determining a new direction for her career and a new commitment to Cal (Chad Michael Murray). Things are finally starting to take shape, until Maggie’s ex-husband Liam (Marcus Rosner) arrives with a shocking revelation that only turns Maggie’s life upside down once again, leaving Cal wondering what’s next. Maybe someday Maggie will be able to truly forget her past. ”

“Sullivan’s Crossing” was adapted for television by showrunner Roman Roth and executive produced by Roth, Christopher E. Perry, Allen Proupas, Carr and additional producing partners. All episodes of Season 4 will be available to stream on the CW app the next day, with Fremantle handling international distribution.

“Reading Rainbow” is enjoying a revival. Sony Pictures Television has ordered 24 additional episodes of its children’s literacy series, with host Mykal Threez set to return. Emmy Award-winning children’s television producer Kristen McGregor is attached to the series as executive producer and showrunner.

The new episodes, produced by Embassy Row in collaboration with Buffalo Toronto Public Media, will continue the series’ long-standing mission of encouraging young viewers to love reading. Sony Pictures Television will produce and distribute the series. A shortened version of the episode will also be available on Kidzuko, Sony’s children’s YouTube channel launched in 2024.

The revival debuted last fall with four episodes of Kidzuko and has garnered more than 4.79 million views to date. Additional celebrity guests and featured books for new episodes will be announced at a later date.

McGregor’s credits include “Sesame Street,” “Teacher Rachel” and “Blippi’s Treehouse.” She will also be moderating a panel at the Kidsscreen Summit on February 23rd focused on evolving partnerships in the kids content space.

The original “Reading Rainbow” first aired in 1983 and became a cornerstone of educational television, using storytelling to help develop literacy and imagination.

Fox Sports has featured a new one-hour documentary special, “You See LA,” which will premiere on FS1 on March 1 at 8pm ET to coincide with the start of Women’s History Month.

The film is produced by AV8 Productions, Allez! Sports and Hello Sunshine will focus on the UCLA Bruins women’s basketball program’s historic 2024-25 season, which culminated with the team’s first-ever Final Four appearance. This documentary not only revisits that landmark run, but also incorporates moments from this season as the Bruins’ story continues to unfold.

“You See LA” features head coach Cori Close and standouts Lauren Betts, Kiki Rice and Gabriella Jaquez, capturing the team’s postseason run.

The film also highlights the program’s ties to the Los Angeles community and includes appearances by UCLA alumni and basketball legends Ann Meyers Drysdale, Reggie Miller and Candice Parker.

“You See LA” will air immediately after the UCLA vs. USC women’s basketball game and is presented by Authentic Asia.

Apple TV has released a first look at Season 2 of its animated preschool series Wonder Pets: In The City, which premieres March 20th.

The show follows the trio of Izzy the guinea pig, Zuri the rabbit, and Tate the snake as they embark on adventures in New York City and around the world in a “jet car” to rescue animals in a musical and mini-opera-themed adventure.

Produced by Nickelodeon Animation, Wonder Pets: In the City was developed by Emmy Award winner Jennifer Oxley, who serves as executive producer with Steve Altiere, and Jeffrey Lesser, co-executive producer.

The new series features the voices of Victoria Scola-Gianpapa as Izzy, Vanessa Hazard as Zuri, and Christopher Sean Cooper Jr. as Tate.

This music-forward series features composers such as Bobby Lopez, Jason Robert Brown, Georgia Stitt, Matthew Sklar, Larry Hochman, Gina Goldrich, and Natsumi Osawa with the Philharmonic Orchestra.

Comedian and actor Dorsky will appear as a special commentator on NBC’s upcoming season of “The Voice: Battle of Champions.”

The 29th season will premiere on February 23 at 9pm ET on NBC and stream the next day on Peacock. The show is hosted by Carson Daly and features a coaching panel consisting of Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Adam Levine.

Dorsky will serve as the series’ first commentator and will “offer unique insight into the strategies of coaches competing for victory,” including tracking “triple turn competitions” and “super steals” between coaches. A lineup of NBA players will also be joining him throughout the tournament.

Dolsky first rose to fame with his “Coulda Been Records” sketches on YouTube and Instagram Live, and went on to self-produce shows and complete a comedy tour with headlining shows across the United States.

“The Voice” is produced by MGM Television, Warner Horizon Unscripted Television, a Warner Bros. Television Group, and ITV Studios, a The Voice USA company. The series is created by John de Mol, who also serves as executive producer along with Mark Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Amanda Zucker, Kyra Thompson, Adam H. Sher, and Barry Poznick.

June Squibb, Kari Wahlgren, Rachel and Aaron Accurso, and Amber Riley will be among the presenters taking the stage at the 4th Annual Children’s & Family Emmy Awards (CAFE), the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced Tuesday. The awards ceremony will be held on March 2nd at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall in New York City.

Award-winning actor, director, playwright, puppeteer, producer, television and theater creator John Tartaglia will host the ceremony, and Regina Spector will perform. Robert Picard (Star Trek: Voyager) will present Bill Nighy with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Café Honors Ceremony on March 1st.

Other presenters include Jennifer Barnhart and “Zoe” (“Sesame Street”), Monique Coleman (“High School Musical”), Frankie Cordero and “Purple Panda” (“Donkey Hody”), Stephanie D’Abruzzo and “Duck Duck” (“Donkey Parker”), Eva Joyce McCarthy (“Primrose Railway Children”) and Bill Nye (“Lifetime Achievement”). Honoree), Tori Prentice and Adriana Walker (Harlem Ice), and Chanel Stewart (Win or Loose). The original Broadway “Avenue Q” cast, Tartaglia, D’Abruzzo and Barnhart, will all appear. CAFE spotlights the pinnacle of creativity and innovation in children’s entertainment. The ceremony will be streamed live through watch.theemmys.tv and The Emmys app (apps.theemmys.tv).

George Guidal, Hilary Huber, January Lavoie, Robin Miles and Simon Vance will be honored as the inaugural inductees of the Audio Publishers Association Hall of Fame at the 31st Annual Audi Awards. The legendary narrators will be recognized at the Audi Awards program on March 2nd at Pier Sixty in New York City.

The APA Hall of Fame recognizes the greatest narrators and pioneers in audiobook history, recognizing those who expanded the reach of audiobooks, shaped the art of voiceover, and helped propel the industry forward.

“The APA Hall of Fame reflects our Board of Directors’ commitment to honoring the narrators and leaders whose artistry, dedication, and vision have shaped modern audiobook publishing,” APA Hall of Fame Committee Chair Dan Jitt said in a statement. “Their work did more than simply interpret a story; it helped build and elevate an entire industry. By establishing this Hall of Fame, we honor their enduring legacy and affirm the importance of recognizing those who built the foundation of today’s vibrant communities.”

The Audie Awards aim to recognize excellence in audiobooks and spoken word entertainment. APA’s goal is to increase awareness of the audiobook industry, share industry statistics, and encourage production.

Prime Video’s documentary film “Meal Ticket” will be released exclusively on Prime Video from March 19th.

From Roc Nation, known originals, and creative control, the film chronicles the history of the McDonald’s All-American Game through the eyes of its biggest stars.

“Jordan, LeBron, Kobe, Candice, Shaq — before these legends could make it big, they had to prove themselves on the same parquet floor: the magical McDonald’s All-American Games,” the official logline reads. “Since 1977, basketball’s most famous annual exhibition, attracting the next generation of talent, has catapulted high school seniors into the NBA and WNBA, making the dream of becoming a superstar a reality for many.”

All McDonald’s All American employees were interviewed, including Blake Griffin, JJ Reddick, Grant Hill, Fraujay Johnson, Jalen Rose, Seimone Augustus, Patrick Ewing, Derek Lively II, Candace Parker, Dominique Wilkins, Tracy McGrady, Paul Pierce, Brianna Stewart, Alonzo Mourning, A’ja Wilson, Amare Stoudemire and Chris Mullin. Especially movies.

“Meal Ticket” was directed by Carlton Gerald Sabbs and Corey Colvin and produced by Billy Burke. Roc Nation’s Juan Perez and Lori York, Known Originals’ Ross Martin and Kaan Silleson, and Creative Control’s Coody Simmons and Chike Ozer served as executive producers. This documentary is a co-production between Prime Video Sports and Known Originals.

Netflix has released the trailer and key art for “Murder in New York” Season 2, which is scheduled to be released on the platform on March 25th. The season will consist of five 60-minute episodes.

Season 2 of the series is described by Netflix as “a docuseries that shines a light on some of the most infamous crimes in the city that never sleeps,” and that “an elite team of New York City police detectives relive the murder investigation that defined their careers.”

Adam Kassen directed the season, and Dick Wolf, Dan Cutforth, Jane Lipsitz, Adam Kassen, Tom Thayer, Nan Strait, and Dan Volpe served as executive producers. Wolf Entertainment & Alfred Street Industries served as the production company.
