Jennifer Aniston’s boyfriend Jim Curtis shared the healthy dynamic they have when it comes to arguments.
The hypnotherapist and wellness coach admitted that he and the Friends alums sometimes have “a little flare-up,” but they choose to deal with it in a positive way.
“I spend a lot of time with my girlfriend,” Curtis said on his podcast, “Ced with Intention,” released on February 12. “We spend a lot of time together at home, and sometimes things just flare up.”
“We have the opportunity to either shut up and be angry, leave the house, think about it and meditate on how to change it, or say, ‘Oh, this happened, I’m sorry,’ and repair it,” he continued.
Mr Curtis stressed the need to work to ensure the problem does not continue to occur.
“Because once you fix it, it happens five more times. No one believes it,” he explained.
Curtis also said it’s important for couples to “set the rules in advance” for their relationship, such as respecting their partner’s way of communicating.
“We’re all extreme up, so unless we start being really intentional and proactive about it, everything that’s inside of us is just going to come out all over the place and we just don’t know how to experience it together,” he explained.
Curtis, 50, and Aniston, 57, first started dating in July 2025 and became official on Instagram in November of the same year.
Curtis appeared on the Today show last month to promote his book, Book of Possibility, and revealed how their romance began.
“We were just introduced by friends,” he said. “That was it. We found out we had mutual friends and we just started chatting.”
Romance did not happen immediately. He said they “chatted for a long time” and “became close.”
“It took a long time,” he said.
Aniston recently celebrated her 57th birthday on February 11th, and Us Weekly reported that she spent it with Curtis.
“They had a low-key dinner and night out for her birthday,” a source told the outlet, adding that the couple were “inseparable.”
“This is the most comfortable[Aniston]has felt in a long time and she’s still going strong,” the source continued.
Curtis publicly celebrated Aniston’s birthday on Instagram, sharing photos of them laughing together and intimate black-and-white shots of them kissing.
“HBD MY ❤️,” he captioned the post.
