Rumer Willis is going to die on this hill.
Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s daughter claimed via Instagram Story on Monday that she received no financial support from her parents while raising her daughter Louetta as a single mother.
The 37-year-old received applause from “ignorant” and “rude” haters after posting about her “never-ending” to-do list, from “drinking 64 ounces of water” and “preparing meals” to “dates” and “planning after-school activities.”
She captioned the reel, “Need a nap and duvet day ASAP 🌀.”
Hours later, Loomer tried to set the story straight after seeing comments that said she was “determining” and “assuming” that she was receiving help from her famous mother and father.
“I work four different jobs to support my daughter,” the entrepreneur declared. “I’m the sole supporter of[my 2-year-old]. I’m not living on a trust fund, I’m not getting money from my parents. Most of the time, I don’t have any support for her. So I think you should pause for a moment before you judge or make assumptions.”
She went on to post a message from one of her followers, pointing out that she has “backup” and will never be “on the streets.”
Loomer insisted she was “well aware” of her “privileges in life” and said, “I don’t take them for granted. I don’t live my life treating the support of my family as a backup plan.”
“I take great pride in supporting myself and my daughter, and I have shouldered real financial stress and responsibilities,” she continued. “There were times when I was the sole provider for multiple people while navigating pregnancy, inconsistent work, and the uncertainty that came with it.”
Loomer, who welcomed Louetta in 2023 with ex Derek Richard Thomas, concluded by rejecting “the idea that[she]doesn’t work or understand the financial pressures.”
Telling naysayers that “two truths” can exist at the same time, Loomer wrote, “There is room for both compassion for what others are going through and honesty about one’s own life without becoming competitive.”
Representatives for Rumer, Bruce and Moore did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Rumer is the eldest son of the former couple, who also welcomed Scout, now 34, and Talla, now 32, before ending their 13-year marriage in 2000.
Bruce, 70, is married to Emma Heming Willis, with whom he has daughters Mabel, 13, and Evelyn, 11.
The “Die Hard” star and Moore, 63, have maintained an amicable co-parenting relationship over the years. And the actress has been by her ex-husband’s side as he battles with frontotemporal dementia.
