Savannah Guthrie’s friends are worried about the “Today” anchor two weeks after her mother, Nancy Guthrie, disappeared.

The journalist made a tearful plea to her mother’s captors via Instagram on Sunday, and one of her friends said she found the footage “very disturbing”.

On Monday, a source told Page Six: “She looks devastated. She looks like she’s in pain. There’s no way she’s going to make it.”

The source continued: “Anyone who knows her is obviously very concerned about her.”

Another friend said “it was like the light went out of her eyes” in this weekend’s emotional social media upload.

In the video, Savannah appeals to her 84-year-old kidnapper, asserting the “inherent goodness of all human beings.”

“I would like to say to anyone who owns her or knows where she is, it’s never too late,” said the NBC personality, 54. “And you’re never lost or alone. It’s never too late to do the right thing.”

Savannah’s colleagues sent their support in the comments section.

“We believe 🙏❤️,” Hoda Kotb wrote, while Morgan Radford added, “We are all with you Savannah ❤️.”

“I continue to pray every chance I get…I love you 🙏,” Dylan Dreyer wrote.

Additionally, other members of Savannah’s Today show family, including Carson Daly and his wife Shiri Daly, reposted her plea.

Nancy was last seen on January 31st, and the matriarch was reported missing the next day.

Savannah and her siblings have released four other videos, and former CIA officer and FBI special agent Tracy Walder called the latest one an attempt at a “different angle” on the Daytime Emmy winner.

The FBI will be working with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department in Tucson, Arizona, throughout the month on Nancy’s case, and Sheriff Chris Nanos believes it could take years to resolve.

“It’s ups and downs and it’s exhausting, but we keep moving forward,” he told The New York Times on Sunday. “We’re not quitting.”

Last week, authorities released the first glimpse of Nancy’s kidnapper in security footage from her doorbell camera.

In another shocking recent discovery, investigators recovered DNA from Nancy’s residence that did not belong to someone “close” to her.

There is a $100,000 reward for information leading to Nancy’s return, and they are awaiting further DNA results and are “actively investigating all of them as suspects.”
