Amy Schumer is crying a lot this Valentine’s Day.
The “I Feel Pretty” star shared her plans on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, posting a photo of herself sitting in the corner of a room, smiling sweetly.
Behind her, a multicolored pastel banner hung on the ceiling and read “Crying Corner.” A tissue box and a bottle of water were visible in the background.
“Give yourself all the love today,” she wrote above the photo, adding, “Happy bye day.”
The comedienne wore a full face of makeup and tied her hair up in a ponytail for the self-care-themed snapshot.
The “Trainwreck” actress (44) filed for divorce from her estranged husband Chris Fisher (45) in January after seven years of marriage.
She announced her breakup with the professional chef in an Instagram post on December 12th. “Blah blah blah, Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our 7 year marriage,” she captioned the upload.
“We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son. We would appreciate your respecting our privacy at this time.”
A since-deleted photo showed herself and Fisher riding the subway. “Blah, blah, blah, blah, not because I thought I’d lose weight and get stuffed into the basket, or because he’s a hot chef who won a James Beard Award and can still pull his hot tail. Friendly, love and respect from everyone! Family is forever,” she wrote at the time.
The former couple secretly married in 2018 and welcomed their son, Gene, in 2019.
Rumors first surfaced in 2021 when Fisher gave the mother-of-one a 40th birthday cake that read, “I’m leaving you. This was the only way I could think of.”
Schumer’s fans seemed to take a gloomy turn when they saw the cake, but were puzzled by the unexplained encounter.
The beloved actress spent the summer of 2023 away from Fisher, vacationing in Europe with Jerry Seinfeld and his wife Jessica, fueling speculation of marital discord.
In the weeks leading up to the divorce, Schumer flaunted her dramatic weight loss in a series of photos. This included a striking snapshot of her without her wedding ring.
A source told Page Six in December that the ex-couple is still living together for co-parenting purposes.
“She looks forward to co-parenting them full-time and seeing Jean as much, if not more, than she does now,” a source said at the time. “For the sake of the kids, they’re still pretty much under the same roof.”
