Margot Robbie isn’t the only Wuthering Heights star to walk the red carpet.
At premieres from Los Angeles to London to Paris, Jacob Elordi has channeled his character, albeit more subtly, with high-neck collars and sharp suits befitting a brooding foundling-turned-gentleman.
But for the Sydney premiere, the 28-year-old actor brought a literal piece of Heathcliff as a flashy accessory: his custom-made gold teeth.
Maison Lakshya founder Jonathan Lakshya tells Page Six Style that the 14-karat gold cap was the same as the one Elordi sports on screen.
It covers his right front tooth and features two 1.3 mm white diamonds on either side of the letters “C” and “H”, combined into one monogram in an ornate font representing Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw.
Lakshya, who has previously worked with Elordi on Custom Grills and counts Sabrina Carpenter, Kylie Jenner and Kendrick Lamar among his clients, said he hand-carved the letters and imbued his pieces with symbolism.
“This is an age-old technique, because for this project we obviously wanted it to look like classic, antique jewelry. We wanted it to have a romantic feel,” Lakshya said, adding that Elordi requested initials for the characters, but gave the jeweler “creative freedom” when it came to the font.
“[At the last moment]I suggested using star-set diamonds to give this piece a little flair,” says the jeweler. “Each diamond represents a lover.”
This isn’t the only special sparkle Elordi has shown off lately. Ahead of the Wuthering Heights press tour, Robbie gifted his co-stars a matching signet ring with CeCe Jewelry, which was inspired by the film and its original story.
The band features two intertwined skeletons surrounded by roses and thorns, and features the most iconic line from Emily Brente’s novel: “No matter what our souls are made of, his soul and mine are the same.”
