Nick Jonas has some words of wisdom for men who love squatty toilets.
Jonas, who called the toilet stool, which allows you to raise your legs to make defecation easier, “the best thing ever”, gave BBC Radio 1 presenter Matt Edmondson his advice on convincing his wife to use a toilet stool.
“I have one, but honestly, it doesn’t work very well,” Edmonson told Jonas about his “poo stool” in an interview Wednesday. It’s a tool that the hitmaker also admitted to owning.
“I’m not giving marriage advice here…you should write a letter explaining why this is so important to you,” Jonas hilariously explained.
“It shouldn’t get in the way of your relationship, even if it gets in the way,” he added. “This is my unsolicited marriage advice to you today.”
Fans joined in the conversation in the interview clip’s comment thread. “@nickjonas, you’re so real about this!” one person wrote, while another pointed out the singer’s “down-to-earth” demeanor.
A third said: “As a nutritionist specializing in gastroenterology and gut health, I can tell you this: a small bench with elevated feet is the best thing you can do for your gut health! :)”
Jonas, 33, married Citadel star Priyanka Chopra, 43, in a lavish multi-day ceremony in 2018, before giving birth to daughter Marti Marie via surrogate in 2022.
The ‘Jealous’ hitmaker previously revealed intimate details about his marriage to the former beauty queen. In August, she revealed her strange bedroom habits with Chopra.
“I think the bed is just for sleeping” Jonas “Are you okay?” I said. In a social media series in August 2025, he confessed his “beige flag”.
“For example, I don’t sit in bed, I don’t eat in bed, I don’t read in bed, I don’t watch TV in bed. I can’t do that.”
“I just don’t like being hot,” the singer continued. “You get hot, that’s all.” If his wife wanted to watch something, he added, he just “pull up a chair and sit next to the bed.”
