Savannah Guthrie shared a touching home video of her missing mother, Nancy Guthrie, that struck a chord with fans.
“Our lovely mom. 💛,” she captioned a post she uploaded to Instagram on Thursday.
“We will never give up on her. Thank you for your prayers and wishes.”
In the touch clip, little Savannah and her sister Annie were seen running towards their mother before jumping onto her mother’s lap and smiling for a photo.
The next video showed Nancy and her daughters playing with purple flowers outside their home.
The video ended with a black-and-white family photo of Nancy, her daughters, and son Camron.
The “Today” host’s post was set to The Brilliance’s 2011 song “May You Find a Light.”
Nancy, 84, was last seen on January 31, when Annie and her son-in-law, Tommaso Cioni, dropped her off at her home in Tucson, Arizona, after a family dinner.
She was reported missing the next day, February 1, after she did not attend a virtual church meeting.
Investigators, who believe Nancy was kidnapped, found a trail of blood in her home after she went missing.
Most recently, the FBI released surveillance footage of a person wearing a ski mask tampering with the doorbell camera at Nancy’s Tucson, Arizona, home in the early morning hours of February 1st.
The footage showed a masked person wearing gloves, a jacket, a backpack and a weapon holstered on his hip.
FBI Director Kash Patel said the footage “may have been lost, destroyed, or otherwise inaccessible due to a variety of factors, including removal of the recording device.”
Investigators later found gloves similar to those used by the suspected kidnapper in surveillance footage.
The gloves were found on a dirt path near Nancy’s home.
Since Nancy’s disappearance, several media outlets have received ransom notes requesting that $6 million be transferred to their Bitcoin accounts, even though there is no evidence that Nancy is alive.
The latest ransom demand letter was sent to TMZ on Wednesday morning, demanding one Bitcoin (worth $67,000) in exchange for “the name of the individual involved” in Nancy’s kidnapping.
The sender claimed that attempts to contact Nancy’s children were unsuccessful.
The ransom note reportedly said, “Time is of the essence.”
Savannah and her siblings agreed to pay the ransom in an Instagram video on February 7th.
“We received your message and we understand,” the journalist said in her emotional appeal to Nancy’s kidnappers.
“Please give us back our mother now so we can celebrate with her,” she added. “This is the only way we can achieve peace. This is something that is very valuable to us and we will pay the price for it.”
Since then, Page Six has confirmed that only $152 has been deposited into the account.
