Samuel Goldwyn Films has acquired the U.S. distribution rights to the supernatural thriller film “The Wolf and the Sheep” from Concourse Media and will continue its global sales in the European film market.
Directed by Michael Silf, The Wolf and Sheep stars Cassandra Scherbo (Sharknado), Jadon Clarke (9-1-1: Lone Star), Eric Nelson (1883), Angus Macfadyen (Braveheart), Corianka Kilcher (The New World), Sammy Rotibi (Django Unchained), and Adrianne. Palicki (John Wick), Zach McGowan (Black Sails), and James Landry Ebert (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood).
The film tells the story of Joe Beckett, a dedicated school teacher whose life is forever changed when his young son mysteriously disappears. Jo’s desperate search leads her through a maze of folklore, paranoia, and faith. Facing hostility from neighbors, local government officials, and a crumbling grasp on her own reality, she must confront terrifying forces that challenge everything she believes in.
Samuel Goldwyn Films is planning a theatrical and digital release in 2026.
A spokesperson for Samuel Goldwyn Films said, “The Wolf and the Lamb is a unique genre experience, an atmospheric, character-driven story that will reward both horror enthusiasts and a wide audience.” “We’re thrilled to bring this chilling journey to American audiences and support Michael Silf’s bold vision.”
The deal was negotiated by Matthew Schrader of Concourse Media and Miles Feinberg of Samuel Goldwyn Films.
Along with “The Wolf and the Lamb,” Concourse Media’s other EFM productions include the crime thriller “The Smack,” starring Casey Affleck, Sam Rockwell, Marisa Tomei and Kathy Bates, and the action thriller “Hour of Reckoning,” directed by Kiefer Sutherland.
