Skims founder Kim Kardashian and F1 driver Lewis Hamilton have known each other for more than a decade, but rumors of their relationship sparked when they were spotted on a whirlwind trip to Europe in early 2026.
It all started when footage surfaced of Kardashian and Hamilton entering a Paris hotel together, which a source later confirmed to People magazine was a “romantic encounter.”
Since then, more sightings and comments from insiders have circulated. The two stars only added further fuel to dating rumors when they attended the 2026 Super Bowl together on February 8th.
Here’s what we know so far about their potential romantic relationship and longtime friendship.
September 2014
It’s unclear exactly when the two first met, but they were spotted together in 2014. At the time, Kardashian was still with ex-husband Kanye West, and Hamilton was dating Nicole Scherzinger. Both couples were photographed as a group at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in September of that year.
March 2015
In March 2015, the two sat front row at the same fashion show in Paris.
The two also attended a post-show dinner hosted by Balmain that same month.
May 2015
Hamilton has been friendly with West in the past, even spending time with the Kardashians and Jenners at their parents’ homes. In 2015, West told the School of the Art Institute of Chicago that Hamilton spent Easter with him.
“Lewis Hamilton is coming to my house and playing music in my studio,” he said. “We’re having Easter brunch, and my wife’s family and friends and all the other family members are there. And everyone’s like, ‘What’s this music?'” And I’m like, “This is Lewis Hamilton’s music.” They’re like, “Oh my god.” It’s really good! ”
November 2016
In 2016, Hamilton told City AM, “Kanye said to me, ‘I’m great in the music world, but in fashion I try to do what I like and people don’t like that. You’re great in the racing world, but I think people will probably have a hard time accepting that because you love your music, you shouldn’t care what anyone thinks and do what you like.'”
May 2018
Hamilton is also close friends with Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner, and they have appeared together in public many times. She visited him at the Monaco F1 Grand Prix in 2018.
November 2021
In 2021, after Kardashian and West’s relationship ended, she and Hamilton posed for a group photo at WSJ. Both were recognized at the magazine’s 2021 Innovator Awards. At the time, Kardashian had just started dating comedian Pete Davidson.
Hamilton shared a photo with Kardashian on Instagram at the time, saying it was an “honour” to be in the same group as the Skims founder.
May 2024
Hamilton is also friends with Kardashian’s sister, Kendall Jenner, and was photographed chatting with her at the 2024 Formula 1 Grand Prix in Miami.
January 2026
On New Year’s Eve 2026, Kardashian and Hamilton were spotted at Kate Hudson’s New Year’s Eve party in Aspen, Colorado.
February 2026
February 1st
On February 1, 2026, it was reported that the two went on a trip together to Estelle Manor, a luxury hotel in the Cotswolds. Photos taken by Backgrid showed the two arriving at the hotel, albeit separately.

On February 2, after footage surfaced of Kardashian and Hamilton entering a Paris hotel together, a source confirmed to People that it was a “romantic encounter.”
February 3rd
The next day, a source told Us Weekly that Hamilton and Kardashian have been on “a few dates recently,” but that their relationship is “casual.”
“She feels like she’s ready to put herself out there again these days,” the source added. “Everyone around her wants her to be happy after everything she’s been through.”
That night, Kardashian was also photographed heading out to dinner at Aqua Kyoto. She appeared to share the view from the rooftop on her Instagram Story, multiple news outlets noted.

February 4th
On February 4, a source confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that Kardashian and Hamilton are “currently exploring a romantic relationship.”
“Kim and Louis are spending more time together and seeing how things go,” the source explained. “They have been friends and known each other for years, but are currently exploring a romantic relationship.”
The source specifically added, “This has been a fun and refreshing change for her. She’s very intentional about who she lets into her life.”
February 8th
Kardashian and Hamilton attended the 2026 Super Bowl and were photographed chatting in the stands. This was the first time the two appeared together in public since rumors of their relationship began.
