Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner have spoken out against the ‘Kardashian curse’ after Kendall’s Super Bowl commercial went viral and suggested she was suffering from a dating curse.
“Haven’t you heard? The internet says I’m cursed,” Kendall joked in the Fanatics Sportsbook ad, which references the model’s string of NBA boyfriends. “Any basketball player who dates me is going to be screwed.”
Kim took to her Instagram Stories on Friday to share her Fanatics Sportsbook bet on Sunday’s big game between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks, addressing the “curse.”
The Skims founder, 45, shared a screenshot of a 69-cent bet on the Seahawks that could have netted him $347,222, and wrote above the photo, “Here I come…I’m proving the curse isn’t real because one of us will win.”
Meanwhile, Kyrie also revealed that she is rooting for the Seahawks from the same podium. “Kim traded to the Seahawks,” she wrote above a screenshot of Kim.
“Are you saying you traded the Seahawks to emulate her?” she joked, referring to Kourtney and Kim’s infamous rift over Kourtney’s wedding to Travis Barker in Italy, eight years after Kim married Kanye West in the same location.
Meanwhile, Kendall was seen sipping tea in a black bathing suit in the sports betting site’s already viral Super Bowl ad.
In the ad, she was drinking tea from a teacup decorated with roses. “Didn’t you hear? The internet says I’m cursed and the roses have withered.
She went on to talk about her own rough past, in which basketball players struck matches and threw fire into trash cans filled with basketball jerseys after they dated her, and that they “had a rough time” with her.
Kendall then walked around the mansion filled with portraits of herself and her ex-boyfriend, but their faces were conspicuously removed. “I’ve been betting on it while the whole world has been talking about it,” she added.
In the next shot, she emerges from a luxurious pool in a black swimsuit. “This pool? My basketball boyfriend missed the playoffs. I guess no one in this house got a ring,” she joked before moving to the jet.
In this cheeky ad, she gets into a sports car before approaching a jet and says, “Boyfriend #2 is right out of the league,” adding: “This cute jet? Thank you, Boyfriend #3!”
Once he took his seat, he said he was ready to “bet on something new, a football player.” Kendall, 30, jokingly concluded the ad with, “Kardashian curse, it’s not even my last name.”
Kendall has actually dated a string of NBA stars, including Devin Booker, Ben Simmons, Jordan Clarkson, and Blake Griffin.
However, her romantic interests are not limited to athletes. Her ex-boyfriend Bad Bunny is scheduled to perform at the Super Bowl on Sunday.
