New England Patriots star offensive tackle Will Campbell plans to play in the 2026 Super Bowl with girlfriend Ashlyn Nussmeier in his corner.
Nussmeier began dating an NFL player while attending Louisiana State University, and opened her first official Instagram account in 2024. Nussmeier supported the Louisiana native throughout his rookie season with the Patriots in 2025.
She was by Campbell’s side when he was selected with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2025 draft, and later congratulated her boyfriend on Instagram.
“My man is a patriot 💙💙!!!,” she wrote in the caption.
Nussmeier continued, “I couldn’t be more proud of you! It’s been so amazing to watch you walk through this process and see how the Lord has used you through it all!! The most hard-working, dedicated, humble leader, you’ve earned it!! I can’t wait to cheer you on!!!”

Nussmeyer was born on August 26, 2004 to parents Doug Nussmeyer and Christy Hebert. She has an older brother, Garrett, and a younger brother, Colton.
Even before his relationship with Campbell, Nussmeyer had ties to the NFL through his father. His father was drafted as a quarterback by the New Orleans Saints in 1994. He spent five additional seasons as a backup QB with the Saints and Indianapolis Colts.
Since 2001, he has worked with various teams as a coach in the NFL and CFL. After spending the 2024 season as quarterbacks coach for the Philadelphia Eagles when they won the 2025 Super Bowl, he was hired as the Saints’ offensive coordinator for the 2025 season.

Nussmeier’s older brother, Garrett, is a quarterback for the LSU Tigers and played with Campbell for three seasons from 2022 until 2025, when Campbell declared for the draft.
When Garrett congratulated Campbell on a video call after Campbell was drafted by the Patriots in April 2025, the rookie NFL player called him his “brother-in-law.”
“Congratulations, brother,” Garrett said during the video call. “I’m so proud of you. They got a franchise player, they got a Hall of Famer. Prove it every day. I’m so proud of your brother.”
“You deserve it. No one deserves it more,” he added.
After getting off the phone, Campbell said, “That’s my quarterback, my girlfriend’s brother. You know that guy, I would do everything in my power to protect him, and I did, and he’s the best quarterback in the country. I’m going to talk to him over there next year.”

Like his brother, Nussmeier attends Louisiana State University.
After graduating from Liberty Christian School in Argyle, Texas, she began studying mass communication and media studies at LSU in 2023. According to her LinkedIn, Nussmeier plans to graduate in 2027. She is also a member of the university’s Kappa Delta sorority.
As for her professional career, Ms. Nussmeier began a partnership services internship at Playfly Sports, a sports marketing company, in August 2025.

Although the two haven’t revealed exactly when they started dating, Nussmeier did give some insight into how they met and how things turned out thanks to her older brother Garrett.
In a December 2025 TikTok video, Nussmeyer wrote on a clip of her and Campbell hugging on the field at LSU’s Tiger Stadium, “When you go to college, your brother will say he thinks you and your teammates should talk.”
Later in the video, clips of the couple kissing and hugging are shown, with a caption above the footage saying, “It’s so important to actually listen to his decisions and spend time with him.”

Upon returning to LSU for his sophomore year in 2024, Nussmeyer first publicly hinted at his relationship with Campbell on social media.
The September 2024 Instagram carousel also includes photos with friends, and Nussmeier added a photo of her hugging Campbell, captioning the post, “I’m back.”
The following month, Campbell posted his first photos with Nussmeier, including a snap of the couple standing together in the stands of a football stadium.
She’s friends with the Patriots’ wives and girlfriends.

Not only has Nussmeier been seen attending Patriots games to cheer on her boyfriend, she has also been photographed with players’ wives and girlfriends, including quarterback Drake Maye’s wife, Anne-Michael May.
In January 2026, she played in the AFC Championship game in Denver, where the Patriots defeated the Denver Broncos 10–7 to win the title. After his team’s victory, Nussmeyer shared several photos from recent games with his wife and girlfriend on his Instagram carousel.
Campbell wrote “I love you” under the post, while May commented, “ILY!!!! See you in Cali ❤️.”
