This year is the year of Bad Bunny.
The Puerto Rican star won Album of the Year for “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS” at the Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 1, becoming the first Spanish-language artist to win in the category.
After Harry Styles announced his name, Bad Bunny (real name Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, 31) was overcome with emotion and tried to maintain his composure before heading to the stage in tears.
He began his speech in Spanish, sending a message of encouragement to Puerto Rico and referring to the island’s size: “Puerto Rico, believe me when I say we are much bigger than 100 x 35.”

That wasn’t his only win of the night. He also won the Best Music Urbana Album award at DTMF and the Best Global Music Performance award for “EoO.”
After the album “I Should Have Taken More Pictures” was released in January 2025, the star appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and spoke about the inspiration for the album.

Next, the “MONACO” singer is scheduled to perform at the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show on February 8th.
“My feelings are beyond myself,” the rapper and singer said after a trailer for the performance was released earlier this month.
